I keep it turned on all the time - As a result, the electronics are in good working order. I've had it for about a year and all four of the units I purchased are still working perfectly; I hope this helps!
The Thermometer can be hung on the Refrigerator Shelf like a picture frame. The Thermometer can be hung sideways on one of the Grilled Shelfes in the refrigerator. Yes, having a swivel on the Thermometer's hanging part would be beneficial. , in order to put the Digital Reading Section in the Foreground
I'm not sure what you're talking about - 4 colors? I received four units, each of which is white and features an LCD display. There are no "color" options that I'm aware of. I hope this has been of assistance.
Until you manually reset the min/max, they will remain in place.

For zone control, I kept them all in separate areas of my fridge. I'm a retired USDA Food Inspector who used thermometers on a daily basis. These have a lot of potential.
These two thermometers were placed next to each other. a few days on one side I took multiple measurements of the current, maximum, and minimum temperatures. I've tried resetting them and changing the batteries, but the problem persists. The minimum temperature is never correct. The minimum temperature in the photo is 51 degrees Fahrenheit, while the maximum temperature is 69 degrees Fahrenheit. This is impossible to achieve. When the house thermostat is set to 78 degrees Fahrenheit, the minimum temperature should be around 76 or 77 degrees Fahrenheit, not 51 or 69 degrees Fahrenheit. My house cannot be cooled to either 69 or 51 degrees Fahrenheit. Purchase is not recommended.
As far as I can tell, 2 of them work properly. A dead battery was included in the third package. GARBAGE was the fourth item on the list. It ate batteries to the point where it died completely in a matter of days. The fact that it was defective was my first indication. In a refrigerator, the screen was blank. Both the dead battery and the faulty unit received excellent customer service from Amazon. I appreciate it, but I'm not pleased with the product's quality!br>br>BTW, I'm amazed that ANY battery-operated device can work inside a freezer! Chemical reactions slow down as the temperature drops, which is how batteries work. IF YOU DO BUY THESE, I HAVE TWO SUGGESTIONS FOR YOU. To check for defective units, put all of them into service right away. ADD MORE BATTERIES TO YOUR ORDER. They're available for a reasonable price on Amazon's "Essentials" section.
No one in our family realized that our refrigerator was gradually losing its ability to maintain the proper temperature until we had food spoilage problems. We had to purchase a new refrigerator, which was unfortunate. I bought these digital thermometers as one of the first things I did. I bought the four pack because we have two refrigerators and a freezer. When someone opens a refrigerator or freezer, they can now tell if the food has been kept at the correct temperature. These small thermometers appear to be very accurate and work well. I particularly like the fact that they can be placed or hung on shelves in a variety of ways. The magnets appear to be a little weak (though it's difficult to tell because our refrigerators are mostly made of plastic). Overall, this purchase has exceeded my expectations.
This product would have gotten a 3 from me. I have three full-size freezers or fridge/freezers in my house, each with its own set of cold zones, so I gave it five stars except for the price. I recently discovered a section of a freezer that was not freezing items on one shelf but was completely frozen in other areas. I needed to investigate several thermometers in order to protect food that was truly perishable. These appear to be well-made for the price, and they can be used with a magnet, hung, or stood up on their own. After reading some negative reviews about their accuracy, I was hesitant to purchase them, but I went ahead and did so. They were wildly incompatible with one another and inaccurate to the ambient temperature right out of the box. However, after a few hours of sitting and adjusting, they figured it out. This product is off by 1-2% when measured against a highly accurate and calibrated Thermapen. They're 2 degrees apart and almost a full degree apart from each other. It's only been a day, but they seem to be working as they should within that margin of error, and having the high/low feature is useful, though I'm not sure how the devices set them.
By a factor of two, one disagrees with the other. 3 degrees Fahrenheit To keep an eye on things in my RV refrigerator and freezer, as well as storage compartments, I use them. The hooks work well on the refrigerator and freezer wire shelves, and when folded back on like a table, they convert to a stand. The screen is large and simple to read. I use the history feature to look at the minimum and maximum values to make sure nothing strange happened overnight in the refrigerator or over the course of a week in the storage compartments. It's simple to change the min/max and on/off values. One was a little disappointing in terms of accuracy, but overall, I was pleased with the value of getting four for the price.
