It would not seem to be a problem to expose the device to moisture on occasion. There is only one downside it only came with two packs. on temp and spot one is on spot one. It is off by about 4 degrees on the other side. Can you please do me a favor and do not waste your time or money on these Customers who purchased this product from this vendor should be entitled to a full refund plus aggravation fees.
