Questions & Answers

How big is the guage's diameter?

I'm not sure what size you're looking for. The overall diameter is 2 inches. 1 inch in diameter, 3/8 inch thick The gauge outer hash marks (for degrees fahrenheit) have a diameter of 5/8 inch, and the gauge outer hash marks (for degrees fahrenheit) have a diameter of 1-inch. The inner hash marks are 1/4 inch in diameter (for degrees Celsius), and the gauge needle is 1 inch long. The stand adds 2 inches to the overall height. The thermometer's height, when considering its lean, is 3/4 inch. 3/8 of an inch

How good is the thermometer's accuracy?

They appear to be correct, and they work well.

Is this thermometer able to withstand water?

I don't think it would be a problem if there was some moisture on occasion. The thermometer in my bar fridge has condensation on it, but it hasn't stopped it from working. I would be unable to determine whether or not the unit could be submerged.

Where did this come from?

I'd already thrown out the box when it arrived. The thermometer has a mark on it.

Do not put in any effort
3/5

Neither of them appeared to be effective. When I got them out of the mailbox at 90 degrees, one said 80 degrees and the other said 20 degrees. I checked them after putting them in the freezer for a day. - one person said. One said it was 20 degrees, while the other said it was 0 degrees.

This is complete nonsense
3/5

The job of a thermometer is to read a temperature with a reasonable degree of accuracy. As you can see in my photo of two of them side by side, the readings are 38 and 42 degrees, indicating a 4 degree difference. That is more than the variation in accuracy of 2010! The safest temperature is 39 degrees Fahrenheit. So, is it safe to eat or not? Using these thermometers, I'll never know.

These little guys do exactly what they're supposed to do - they're helpful. Before putting them in another frig, I double-checked that the temperatures they displayed matched the built-in gauges in my Samsung refrigerator. They appear to be well-made and simple to read. Because the price is unbeatable, they will be considered a steal if they last.

Different readings appear to be provided by them
3/5

These are functional, but I don't believe they are as precise as they could be. I have three of them on the same refrigerator shelf, each with a different reading. Usually, there are two of them. 3° apart, though it appears to be 4° at times. br>Each of the three has a different reading; two of them are usually close to one another, perhaps 1° – 2° apart. The other is a 3°-degree-degree-degree-degree-degree-degree-degree-degree-degree-degree-degree-degree The difference in temperature is 4 degrees.

BUYING THESE IS NOT A GOOD IDEA! I recently purchased these because my home child care requires me to keep track of the temperature in my refrigerator and freezer
3/5

When I opened this package, the thermometers were placed in one of the large yellow mailing envelopes and that was it; there was no box or plastic to protect them. Needless to say, they stank and were filthy when we got there. I just looked at them and tossed them in the trash; there's no way I'm putting that in my refrigerator! It's revolting!.

The information provided is incorrect
3/5

The precision is poor. The temperature readings on the two thermometers were 6 degrees apart: One was 2 degrees lower than another refrigerator thermometer I already own (which I trust to be reasonably accurate), and the other was 4 degrees higher than my reference thermometer. I informed the seller, who told me that I could buy two more and then return the two with the lowest accuracy (which would presumably be sold to the next customer).

Please see the following information for an update: BUY THESE THERMOMETERS AT YOUR OWN RISK! Despite testing them side by side in my refrigerator for two days, the set of two thermometers I received did not consistently record the same temperature readings
3/5

One of the thermometers consistently read at least 4 degrees higher than the other, which is a significant difference in a refrigerator, necessitating that I increase my refrigerator's manual temperature control setting from 5 (the default) to 7 on a scale of 1 to 9 to maintain a safe temperature for food storage. This is also a problem because the higher refrigerator temperature control setting of 7 consumes more electricity and, most likely, costs more money. Fortunately, Amazon is sending me a replacement set of these thermometers, which should be more accurate and consistent than the originals. br>br>UPDATE: br>br> BUY THESE THERMOMETERS AT YOUR OWN RISK! br>br>Amazon sent me these refrigerator thermometer replacements. com in its original box, as seen in the first photo. br>br>In addition, as seen in the second photo, both of these refrigerator thermometers had scratches, fingerprints, and were literally dirty. As a result, both of these replacement refrigerator thermometers will be thrown away due to their physical condition, which includes obvious signs of previous use, scratches, and, most importantly, filthiness, which is completely unacceptable and inexcusable during a COVID-related emergency. Pandemic number 19 is here! There's no way I'm putting these in the refrigerator where I keep my food! br>br>I brought this to Amazon's attention in the hopes that they would improve their order fulfillment quality control, which was HORRIBLE in this case!.

My curiosity had been piqued
5/5

I bought a small two-bedroom apartment. Recently, I purchased a door refrigerator. The new refrigerator never seemed to get cold enough. I ordered a set of these instead of going through the trouble of returning them. One went in the freezer, and the other went in the fridge. After taking a reading, I switched the thermometers. After a while, the reading returned to its previous state. They are extremely effective.
