If it was always correct, that would be wonderful. This app sometimes gives me readings that I don't agree with. My brain has a hard time understanding I had to return the two other supposed freezer thermometers that I ordered and they did not even go down to freezer temperatures. They appeared to confuse me by displaying Celsius/centigrade numbers and it was not until I got home that I realized they didn't the majority of this is correct and a few percent off once in a while, I can easily tell if it is working properly. The app seems to be accurate when it is.
Following this thermometer's highest recording and checking its memory, I feel confident eating food out of the fridge for the first time.
There is a huge swing in the reading of the thermometer. Battery type 2032 is used in this thermometer. A battery was provided in advance The program appeared to be installed, but was not functioning. It turned out that I had a spare 2032 battery, so the thermometer worked fine. With the thermometer you have a big, easy-to-read screen to check the temperature. It gives both the minimum and maximum temperatures as well as the current temperature, which I find useful. A button allows you to reset the minimum and maximum temperatures. By pressing a button, you can change from F to C degrees as well. There are labels on all the buttons, so it is easy to push them and respond immediately. I use the thermometer to measure the temperature in the refrigerator and the accuracy seems to be.
This thermometer is SO easy to read and I like the fact that it is free-standing. The accuracy of this one was checked by placing it next to a thermometer that was working and accurate. Both of them read the same temperature after a full day of sitting with the other. As a second one, I decided to remove the older one from my pantry and put it into my freezer. Two thermometers are in the refrigerator and two in the freezer (at the moment). I like how easy the thermometer is to read and how well it came with a battery. I suggest this product to anyone interested in a great price point.
Typically used on wire shelves, this item is magnetic and could stand alone or latch on to them. A highly accurate and functional tool.
