Batteries are not required. Because it displays the electricity company's turn off schedule so that when the electricity goes out you know when it is in "freezing" mode. Even though it's still freezing, there is still some freeze-dried food.

According to some reviews on Amazon, I ordered 6 of the thermometers. Using them for comparison at room temperature required me to line them up by hand. In order to make adjustments to the six thermometers, nothing calibration screw was used to detect the temperature difference. A good safety rating of 1 star would seem appropriate considering a spread of 5 or 6 degrees, but I don't foresee it given that this is not an accurate measurement when considering food safety. Although I returned them, I also purchased something from another location before doing so. In my search for six NSF-registered thermometers, I wasn't aware that they came from amazon, but I did not expect what I ordered from that was not included in those ratings.
They all read the same; one only worked when it had a lot of power; two were far off; the other three did not. They still do not provide safe levels of storage.
The temperature inside the fridge/freezer can be monitored at different sites with these systems. A malfunction has caused our internal fans to malfunction, causing uneven cooling which allows food to melt. spoil. In terms of volume, these thermometers are not that large, so they are readily found, easily readable, and have easy access to food so they don't interfere with food, though they do occupy precious space. The maximum temperature they can reach is 80 degrees. They are specifically designed to monitor cooling.
My calculations are true, as they were put together the same way and received exactly the same reading. When I find that there are children around, we often need to leave doors ajar so I can quickly see what's going on. Keeping things under control at a safe temperature is helpful here.
For checking refrigerator and freezer temperatures, I ordered six units to keep. To verify their consistency, I kept all the thermometers in one refrigerator when they were purchased. It may seem like there are some factors suggesting problems with different temperature readings, but I am going to make it clear, that all six were just the right readings for the situation. These units are very small to read when placed inside any refrigerator or freezer, but you can detect when the appliance is running smoothly by using a color-coded needle and position. The thermometer was a very good purchase.

Using a magnet attached on one side, I'll stick them to the wall, it'll still function correctly. A big positive so far is that I feel satisfied.
All had different readings, but I put three in the refrigerator and three in the freezer. When it is cold and there are frozen items inside the freezer, I can wear a glass thermometer from Walmart if needed. However it had an inaccurate reading too. It is important to not waste your money.
It's very helpful for monitoring the temperature in my rechargeable batteries this time of year by using these thermometers. To prolong the life of my 18 volt batteries, I place them in a cooler that is not exposed to extreme cold.
