Purchase a new one first, and then test it in the washing machine to determine the solution!
No, I doubt it. It is covered in a soft plastic-like finish. Mine is for making bread. mutton love it. I use a metal/glass thermometer that clips to your pan for the rest of the hot stuff.
Yes, there is a protective tip on it. It is depicted in the image.
I have two different types of ThermoPro Thermometers, both of which I adore, but I'm afraid I can't answer the question. I looked through both of my manuals and couldn't find anything. Sorry

I used it for the FIRST TIME! Purchases should be avoided. I tried this thermometer on the turkey for the first time on Thanksgiving, and it seemed to work fine, but when I tried it again a few hours later, the temperature didn't rise above 78 degrees! I made use of an old-fashioned The temperature was 170 degrees using an old-fashioned meat thermometer. I'm okay with the fact that most products don't last ten years. However, on Thanksgiving Day, this one ceased to function. I used it for the first time that day!.
This came highly recommended and promoted on the Amazing Ribs website, which I frequent for recipes and grill reviews. The probe is effective and long enough to keep my hand from being burned. After about 4-hours, take a final temperature reading. The duration is 5 seconds, which is slightly longer than the advertised time. The only problem I have is that the light goes out quickly, making the reading difficult to see at night.
This was purchased to replace a Thermapen that had broken. It's less expensive and it's more efficient. Within a year, the Thermapen had broken, and it now only works occasionally and slowly. I tried two other low-cost alternatives, both of which were terrible. In comparison to the Thermapen, the ThermoPro one appears to be more accurate, and I don't have to unfold it and wait for it to begin. Simply press the button, and you'll be on your way. Meat, chicken, and fish are the most common ingredients. I'm not sure how long it'll last, but for the price, it's a great deal. For the time being, my favorite new kitchen gadget.
This is a photo of a London Broil that I pulled from the oven at 127 degrees Fahrenheit. Based on previous cooking experience, I knew it had been in the oven for too long, but it kept giving me a low temperature reading, so I trusted it. And here's what I got: br>br> You did an amazing job. This cannot be allowed to continue. You can't be on Mars and aim for the moon, which is how far this thermometer is off the mark. Take a look at other options if you're not impressed.
The copy I received is in good working order and meets all of the requirements. I tested it on my body temperature using a mercury thermometer after taking it out of the package, and it was accurate. Then I put it in a pot of boiling water to see if it would work, and it did. I've used it to cook just about everything with no issues and it always works as it should.
second. This is permanently affixed to the side of my refrigerator, alongside my digital timer, two essential household tools. This little tool is so much easier and faster for a quick check of milk or water used in yeast bread and kefir than my upscale wireless leave-in thermometer (which is great for oven roasting). It's simple to read the thermometer's display. I haven't yet attempted to make jam or candy, but I am confident that it will be a significant improvement over the traditional high-fructose corn syrup method. Heat thermometers with a bulb that must be immersed in boiling syrup but not in contact with the pan's bottom or sides - In terms of accuracy, I could compare it to a good old-fashioned candy thermometer, and I may do so in the future.
The product is of high quality. The amount of data is substantial. Only complaint is that the attached 2010% discount coupon code for your next Thermpro order on Amazon is NOT VALID.
A tool that I use frequently. It's something I use on a regular basis, and it's very responsive! To the point. Readability is excellent. Size and length are both satisfactory. Temperature range is large. range. Bonus: It'll stick to the stove or the fridge with a magnet! A good product that is well-designed.
