If I had the option, I would give it a rating of 4 1/2 stars. The thermometer is a tad slower than I expected, but it still gives me more accurate readings Even though the black stick with a hole near the top is a handy place to store the thermometer, its size means I won't be able to make use of it on a regular basis. I like how big the display is and how bright it is. Instead of holding it by the sides, I would prefer to be able to hold it by the top. But with the buttons, this isn't practicable. I don't think it is a deal breaker, but it is just a preference. A good length has been chosen for the probe. While I haven't tested out the waterproof abilities yet, it's a plus to not have to worry about the phone being damaged if it falls in the sink while washing. Magnets are great, I love the one I got. When I attach it to the side of the refrigerator, it holds nicely and is easily accessible. It has arrived quickly and is accurate so far. With my other thermometers and a calibration to ice, I tested them against each other. You're right on the mark!
