The device features large temperature zones that are easy to read - the Deep Fry, Thread, Soft Ball, Hard Ball, Soft Crack, and Hard Crack stages can all be selected.

The thermometer is securely attached to a pot clip using a rust-proof stainless steel construction. The insulated handle does not retain heat.

There is a temperature range of 90°F to 400°F (30°C to 200°C) in Celsius and Fahrenheit.

It is accurate. A quality product. Irresponsible use will not damage the product. In order to use a kitchen thermometer, I wanted one that my partner wouldn't be able to ruin or damage. A heavy-duty thermometer that is accurate is what I was looking for. It is a thermometer that I use to measure the temperature of milk and water when I make This is a great idea. This stainless steel necklace is excellently made, and is of a very high quality. My partner ordered the two pack so that we would not use ours for deep frying over the propane fryer or using it outside for grilling. The experience is far better than I expected. He has his own and I have mine. My favorite candy thermometer was the glass one, and I had been buying them for many years. They were all destroyed by him (5 in total). Water or oil will destroy the paper strip inside the glass ones. As soon as they get wet, they will break down into Steel is the material on which this one is printed. I love it! I was unable to use mine. What a horrible thing to happen. Twice I've tried to play the dvd, but it has always The eggs I made soft boiled were boiled in water. There was no way to get over 200 and the eggs were overdone. Trying to make peanut brittle again, I overcooked the mixture before it reached 220 degrees. I hated to miss 3 days of work by ruining all. Tool without any use at all. Choosing another product would be a better choice.

The thermometer is excellent quality just like the one I used to have! It was a great thermometer and I thought that it could not be replaced with one of the same I did not realize how wrong I was! I really enjoy this thermometer as it is just like my old one and it includes a triangular shape for better Thank you very much

An excellent thermometer for the fryer

To date I have only used it for frying, but it has worked well for me so far, it's easy to read and, except for having to adjust the stove temperature, this and a Dutch oven are much less hassle.
