There are a couple of 10" straws that are just too long for In the end, both the size and the quality of the ring were excellent, though the 10mm diameter was simply too large. It's easier to spit a drink down in two sips than to swallow it it whole since the straw has plenty of liquid in it by the time it reaches your mouth. "Living by the pool" is not an option. You either do it all or you don't do it at all. Those straws would work perfectly if I needed them for smoothies and milk shakes.
I'd like to purchase them in 8mm, but I can't find them on this brand's website. A sad feeling fills my heart.

Straws can easily be inspected to determine if they are clean. It's possible to scrub and clean all you want with stainless straws and bamboo, but how do you know whether or not the milkshake residue has been removed? Take a second to think.
As part of our efforts to be more environmentally friendly, we bought these in place of plastic straws for home use. Whenever I wear them, my biggest concern was whether they'd hold up to everyday wear. I think things are going well so far.
