This straw is ideal for drinking pearl tea or boba. My favorite brand of pearls to use is Efa pearls that you need to boil for only 5 minutes A straw was able to fit them after about 10 minutes. In the picture, the colors look exactly like what they look like in real life. They're bright and appear just like the disposables. Considering the straws are thick and sturdy, they are able to pierce the film on any ordered boba without issue. are not flexible and do not bend like in the picture, so if Boba might be a little bigger it gets stuck in the straw because of the no-flex. The downside is that sometimes it makes drinking through it feel like it's going to start and stop, because Boba keeps getting stuck. Generally, I'm pretty pleased with them, but the odd incident of Bubba getting stuck in the straw kind of stinks. This way (Badum-- This is Tish).

In the beginning, I bought them as a replacement straw for a Bumbler cup (a reusable tumbler for boba drinks), because my boyfriend's cat chewed up the original straw that came with the cup. Since I am hypersensitive to metal, I was not able to use metal straws. It is impossible to find glass ones that are long enough and wide enough for tapioca balls that are also long enough (10 inches). Despite being a bit reluctant, I took a chance on these and they satisfy me perfectly. It comes in a variety of colors and comes with two straw cleaners. The plastic is sturdy and I love how they are made of plastic. It is fine to pass tapioca balls through. And for places that do not allow you to bring your own cups or tumblers, they penetrate the plastic film very easily, without leaving a mess or warping the straw at all. Getting this product has been a great experience for me, and I highly recommend it.
