Although the product description does not state it, this item contains BPA (a warning label was included when I received it). br>br>Because it contains BPA, I cannot use it as an ice scoop in my freezer. The hunt continues now that this one has been returned.
There are numerous applications for this item. Terrific. There are numerous applications for this item. One of these is in the ice cube maker in my freezer. One is in my winter salt melt, and the other is in the flour. One of them is buried in my sugar. On my dog food bag, I have one. If one of them breaks, I have extras. I've had two of them for a long time and they're still in great shape. As a result, I returned to purchase additional items. If you're looking for a scoop, this is the one to go with. It's a good size, and it can even fit inside a glass. In the summer, all you have to do is grab a scoop of ice from your ice keeper and place it in the glass. The ice melts into the glass without any effort. No mess. Love it!.
