Approximately 9" long and just under 3 1/4" wide, the scoop is made of molded plastic. Is made of plastic and is white Rubber is black in color. The bag holds 8 ounces, I think.

You can use it if your ice is small, but if you want moon-shape cubes, you should not use it. It is possible for you to get three. Every time I look in the freezer, I get mad.

As a result of COVID, my husband insisted on getting an ice scoop One of my friends had this one that was 19 and I liked it. This plastic scoop operates well in our ice maker and seems to be sturdy. It isn't good for cutting ice, but I could comfortably hold it in my hand and it picks up a decent.

A Chef Craft scoop is used to make ice cubes in our refrigerator. An ice chest is another one we use, and both are very convenient. It's a little larger than the Onex so I can use it in the ice chest, which also makes it a little faster to use. I changed it out because ours had broken. The OXO brand has always been our top choice for top tier items, but in this case we like Chef Craft's alternative.

With our new fridge, the icemaker is located in the bottom drawer, so we wanted a scoop so we didn't get our hands in the ice very often. The ice bin holds this very well, and it is very effective. It does not get frosty and it is a good size, so it is Hand wash it in warm, soapy water and let it dry on its own. The recommendation is a strong one.
