But they will also be used for more than just parties. As shown in the pictures, they are filled exactly how they should be. You do not need to provide any further instructions. Diamonds removed once the water turns to ice are easily removed from molds and do not lose their shape. They do not need to be cracked either. As they are silicone, I think I will use them for more than just water since they are easy to clean.

Traditional plastic trays will crack over time, but these are made from rubbrer and won't. The best way to remove ice is with a blowtorch! The rest of my order has been placed!.

Upon removing this tray from its packaging, I had a feeling that things would not go well for me. The first thing I should say is that I totally missed the fact that the ice trays come with two tiny little funnels, through which you are to fill them. I'm sorry. I didn't agree to that. That would have been a deal-breaker Right there is a deal breaker. The funnels should be of the same size). One point they have going for them that this one does not, is the way in which their top and bottom trays create a vacuum/suction effect when they are slapped These containers do not leak in any way, and the ice cubes are perfectly arranged. There is nothing like that on this tray. It is not as if a vacuum is created when the parts are put together. There will be a leak between its two pieces all the way, no matter how you try to fill it with water. I even tried to use those ridiculous funnels but they did no good. I tried several times trying to find an error, but I ended up failing miserably every time. I cannot think of a better way to put this - the top and bottom must be able to "snap" together so that the seal is created, which is crucial if you want your ice cubes to form correctly. There is just a sort of floating element between the top and bottom trays. Worked fine for the past two days.

Making ice cubes in the shape of diamonds is a fun way to add a little sparkle to your next party. It's always worth it to go out with friends, even if it's just for drinks! It would be nice if there were more cubes than four. The diamond sections are each filled with a small funnel, making it easy to fill them. As far as I am aware, I've only used it with water to make ice cubes, but it seems like it would be easy to put jello in it. Probably due to the silicone's ability to go in the dishwasher, it is really easy to clean.

Having fun with these ice cube trays was great! One of the reviewers noted that she had difficulty making perfect diamonds because the top of the shape was frequently missing, since water kept leaking from the slides and it was hard to know when the mold was full.

They are so small, however, that it completely brings me down! I thought the design was awesome, but they were so I would have liked them to be bigger so that one diamond could be used per glass for an old-fashioned or something like that.
