This is not a bad product. In order to make some Korean shaved ice treats (bingsu), I used it. When you use regular ice from your fridge, it will be an arm workout. In contrast, using the mold that came with the product is much more effective. Unfortunately, I am not a fan of the shavings from the mold, as they melt too fast and are too thin.

Creating ices is more fun than eating them, so my young daughter and I do it together. Juice is usually frozen and taken out of the freezer about an hour after being frozen. I do think the fun lies in the making rather than the automatic one, which is a definite plus.

There is a good deal of shaved ice here. Basically, the only thing that's hard is turning the crank. If you want to use ice, you can, but it's much easier to use It is easy to fill the cups/molds with an adequate amount of food. It's almost like you don't need a second! Very nice, and doesn't seem cheap in the least.

If you treat yourself to ice every day, you're a fan of the treat. It can work if the power goes out, or if you are going green with how you save money. I hope you will find it helpful if you would like an arm work out. The ice shaves, but it does not produce chunks of ice (it is a bit fluffy/icy)
Problem WHEN YOU TRY TO TURN, IT IS HARD. By itself, the blue piece holds the ice, but you must hold it in one hand to turn the top, which in turn causes the blue piece to loosen.

You can find it there. Without a doubt, I would not give it a star. The idea of my 5 year old doing this bothers me as I find it hard to work with. In order to crank it, you need to place one hand on it and then tightly fist crank it with the other. When I cranked it for the first time, pieces kept falling off the second time I cranked it, more pieces fell This machine has a couple of different pieces to hold the ice the handle and the front panel. It's a junk machine!.
