Gold Medal 1487 Block Ice Mold, Includes 10 Bags, 5" X 5" X 12", Galvanized Steel

In this picture, it appears that there is just one mold and one The item is actually made up of In reality, the picture does not represent both the product and the method used to freeze it. In the absence of instructions, nothing was done. Whenever I contacted KaTom or its representatives via the email address provided, I was told that it was easy to use in a sarcastic manner. It stated that I needed to put the two pieces together, place a bag in the "mold" and fill it WHAT is that? I have never been able to fit the top on the mold as shown in the picture, not before or after the ice froze. Ice is creased in a lot of places because the bags are so big. To remove the bag from the creases, I had to pry it out with my hands. The idea of freezing a block of ice this way makes no sense to me. I wish I could give a rating of 0 for that mold. It would be nice if it was just a simple one piece mold. A picture of the bag is attached. We would have to do too much work to put the bag there.

It is an okay product that would be better if the instructions were included. No instructions are included, but it comes with a whole bunch of plastic bags. What happens once the molds are inside the bag? Do you fill it with water after the molds are inside the bag? Perhaps that would make sense if the bags were of the correct size, but then you would have to turn them over so you can use them. In this situation, you can't disconnect the plastic bag from the ice, so it ends up looking crappy and being useless. Have any suggestions? Youtube didn't hold any instructions so I went to youtube to find some.

It is a bit of a challenge getting the ice out but I managed. I wish to make my own block ice for my cooler.

The misleading information disappointed me so much. You won't find instructions here. After freezing it, I was not even able to push through the crack. Lastly, I have an upright freezer I was told was the best. However, I held onto my regular freezer after using the upright one. Since the ice does not come out evenly (shape-wise), I'm concerned that it may cause damage to my No block has been made correctly out of two that I ordered. Although I found out it was caused by 112 gallons of water, this still did not make much difference. Snow cone business owners like me get upset because purchasing ice is so expensive, especially those living in a large city like me. I would have given no stars if I could have.
