To insert peeled garlic, the directions clearly state to do so. Would you please tell me how this product peels the garlic for me or did I receive ?

It is simply a matter of putting a few cloves into the peeler and rolling them I'm just like a magician when it comes to peeling the peels off! Peel the garlic cloves and place them in the slicer. Then twist it until you have perfect, thin slices.

Is it possible for only one clove to be cut ?

If you have multiple garlic cloves or shallots, slice them into smaller pieces.

Do you have the ability to adjust the size of the slicer?

It is not possible to adjust the thickness of the slice, but the more pressure applied the thicker the slice will be. Garlic cloves may be sliced horizontally or vertically.

You don't have to worry about cutting your fingers if you don't know how to use a knife

We used it to slice garlic for spaghetti alla puttanesca, and although not as thin as GoodFellas paper, it worked just fine. The program did a very good job and saved me time. I'm not sure what they're looking for under smell, but it smells like garlic when you use it. Cleaning it will make it more attractive. Not a scent to be found.
