It seems to work for all types of garlic, in my opinion. I've used it for both fresh and dried fruits and vegetables, and it works fine as long as you roll gently.

Perhaps I simply don't know how to use this particular garlic peeler properly. With them, I've never had a lot of luck. This one appears to be sturdy, and I've already used it for tasks other than garlic and peeling, so I'm pleased. If you like this style of peeler, this one appears to be a good choice. It's also useful for twisting jars open.
The flat sheet design is appealing to me because it is simple to clean.
This is a replacement for my old one, which finally died. It's easy to do and gets the job done quickly. It's ready for the next cooking project after a quick brushing with warm soapy water and a rinse.
This is one of my favorite recipes because it allows you to peel a large amount of garlic. When rolling garlic, sticky juice is produced, making it difficult to keep peeling them with a tube. You can rinse and dry the garlic with a flat sheet so you can continue peeling it. I grouped cloves that were of similar size. It's that simple. I make raw kimchi occasionally, which necessitates a large amount of freshly peeled garlic. If you're only going to use it once, that's fine. Cleaning is a breeze. It's a cinch to use.
I had one of these for 20 years and had to replace it recently. It peels garlic quickly, rinses cleanly, and is the best jar opener on the market!.
I had one similar a few years ago that did a much better job, but it wasn't intended for garlic peeling. I got as close as I could with the Norpro peeler, but I believe the material would work better if it were thinner. However, it continues to function properly.
It costs nothing to open jars. br>br>.
It's quite effective.
