Product Description

By entering your model number, you can make sure that this fits.
This handy tool lets you mince garlic to your desired texture without smearing sticky garlic juice all over your cutting board or knives.
Simply place garlic in the GarlicZoom chamber, roll it back and forth on a smooth surface, and let the interior blades do the work. A fine mince will result from more rolling, whereas a coarser chop will result from less rolling.
The GarlicZoom has been improved to include more gearing for easier rolling, larger finger holds for safer blade removal, and a more durable overall design.
In your kitchen, the compact design takes up very little space. Dishwashers are safe to use on the top rack.
Choose smart, user-friendly kitchen utensils based on Chef'n's trusted reputation, tasteful design, and new technologies.

Questions & Answers

Is it necessary to peel the garlic before using it?

Yes. Otherwise, the skin would become mingled with the grlic that had been chopped. Chefn has a garlic peeler, as well as those little rubber things where you put the garlic and roll it around on the counter. The peeling is fantastic!

What is the yield of the extra-large garlic bulb? Is it necessary to have both sizes for small projects? Is it possible for the big one to do small jobs as well?

Hello, just one is enough. br> One to two cloves are done by the small. br> The large cloves can be up to five average size cloves in size. br> I personally prefer the large size because it can handle both small and large amounts of garlic.br> If you must choose, go with the large size if you plan to use a lot of garlic. br>Thank you very much.

What are the dimensions of the garlic chopper that is extra large?

This chopper is a must-have! 4", W- 2 1/2" in length and L- 2 1/2"

Is it possible to purchase replacement blades from you?

Unfortunately, we don't have any.

Zoom! Zoom! Love! Love! GarlicZoom is fantastic! It's never been simple or enjoyable to mince garlic
5/5

Garlic, onion, chilies, and herbs are reduced to a fine powder. I'm not sure what it is about this little gadget that I like the most. What if you didn't have to deal with the stench of garlic fingers all night? Chopping a super hot chile or mincing fresh herbs in the blink of an eye won't burn your fingers or eyes. I zoom anything I can fit into the GarlicZoom. It's fun! I have a problem with my wrist as a result of an injury. Nerve damage to the arm and hand. This is still zoomable for me. When people ask if they can help in the kitchen, I assign this task to them, and they all enjoy it. It's the cutest little thing in their opinion. I bought the larger of the two, and while it's great for garlic, I wish it came in a bigger size for onions, chiles, and herbs when a larger amount is required. This is great for finely chopping fresh or dried herbs like you'd get at the store. Simply ensure that your fresh herbs are completely dry before using them, and pack them in as tightly as possible. I have other larger choppers, but this little guy, unlike most choppers, does an excellent job of keeping things uniform, and none of the others can match the fine mince of this one. You can go from a fine mince to a small dice with practice, and did I mention how nice it is to not have burning or stinky garlic fingers? Are you running out of room? You won't regret making room for a small child. I'd strongly suggest it. br>br>In case you didn't know, If your knife skills are up to par, the knife is still king in terms of overall convenience. This little zoom zoom is more fun than a knife, and it's ideal for people who have dexterity issues or who are just not very good with knives. Knife skills are important. You will most likely be disappointed if you possess some skills. Those who complain about waste. I've found that using a standard garlic press, which I can no longer use due to medical reasons, is the most wasteful option. I hope this information assists you in avoiding disappointment.

For a RA cook, this is an indispensable aid! Okay, I know we've all seen Alton Brown's complaints about "unitaskers," and if you're anything like me, you've probably tried a dozen different garlic-loving products that all claim to make your life easier
5/5

This one, however, is different in that it actually works! And well! I can't chop garlic cloves because I have Rheumatoid Arthritis, but the pre-minced kind just doesn't taste the same. I buy the garlic that has already been peeled (you can skip this step if you can peel garlic), throw a few in whole, and roll it around my counter. It's large enough to hold comfortably and has enough garlic to make a 6 quart pot of spaghetti! It takes a little while to get going, but once it stops rolling, just keep going back and forth until it's perfectly minced in about a minute! If you're not an experienced prep chef, this method is MUCH faster than doing it by hand. br>I was worried that removing the garlic and cleaning it would be a pain, but it's actually quite simple! It has little pieces of plastic that go between the blades on the bottom to keep the garlic from spinning around, which you can't see in the pictures. These are also your ally when it comes to removing the garlic. I flip it over and alternate tapping it on the counter with spinning the wheels a few times. Then I remove the lid from my pan or bowl and scrape the last bit out with a butter knife. When you open the small lid, the majority of it will fall out. You'll never get rid of everything, but this method leaves very little behind. Then I clean it by rinsing it under the tap until all of the dirt is gone, then letting it dry on my counter. It has a small lid for getting the garlic out and a large lid for removing the blades, but I've yet to see the need to completely disassemble it for cleaning. I've tried both and noticed no difference in the level of cleanliness. The job was completed by simply rinsing the small lid and allowing it to air dry. I've had it for a few months and it hasn't dulled or developed rust spots. br>The only thing I'd change is that the blades should be more fixed in place because they occasionally have a problem where they will only go so far in one direction but spin freely in the other. I'm only guessing, but I believe the blades are slamming into the bottom-most pieces of plastic. This, however, has no bearing on the product's overall performance. It's just a little irritating.

This is an excellent device
5/5

This appears to be a wacky prank. Kitchen gadgets that end up in the back of the drawer should be thrown away. THIS IS NOT THE CASE! This is something I use almost every day to mince garlic and ginger. It's great, but there are two things to keep in mind: 1. br>br> Invest in the larger version. I replaced mine after three years because I couldn't tell whether the one I was using was the XLarge or the regular from the listing, so I went with the regular. In my opinion, it's far too small to hold even one garlic clove. Two or three garlic cloves will fit in the large one. halved to make chopping more even- or a quartered inch of peeled ginger 2. br>br>1. br>br>br>br>br>br The little gizmo in the photo, which is perfectly sized to dig the minced whatever out of the chopper, was originally included by the manufacturer. I didn't get one with the new one I just got. It's a must-have, in my opinion, because it's so convenient. br>br>And there's one more thing- Rinse it out immediately after use, as other reviewers have suggested. It only takes a steady stream of water. Otherwise, the garlic will harden into the same substance that is used on the nose cones of space shuttles.

Shipped in the incorrect size
3/5

Great product, but I received the small rather than the large size. In the last two weeks, I've ordered two more in the hopes that Amazon will fix the problem. The photo shows the packaged small next to my large one, which has a broken hinge after a year of use. It's time to start over. ).

The XL is the way to go
5/5

This is a fantastic little device for me! I'd had a couple of the regular sized GarlicZooms for a while and really liked how useful they were, so I went ahead and ordered the XL. I'm not going back in time! XL is the way to go. The smaller ones can only handle a few garlic cloves at a time, and even then, they may struggle to get started. With the XL, I tried 4 cloves and it could easily handle twice that. It chopped them up so quickly and without a hitch. br>br>I know there are a lot of people who say, "I can chop my own garlic," and that's fine; I like garlic but despise chopping it. I despise how stinky your hands are. As a result, this handy device comes in handy!.
