It is not as big as it appears in photos. There aren't any more than about three medium sized heads of garlic that you can fit in there, but it's a nice little container that keeps the massive amounts of garlic we cook with neat and orderly. When a fourth head is present, the lid will not seat properly. Although it's not as pretty as the fruit bowl, it does the job better.

My expectations were met with this product

The ceramic base is just what I expected. The container is well vented and it is easy to access the garlic inside. It will look good on the countertop, as well as being easy to grab. Although the lid was of high quality, I was disappointed by its design. Water stains appear on the lid of the jar, so it looks used. In spite of its description in the text or graphic, there is a problem with the item. For me, the only thing that's important is that it will stay in my pantry, so the look won't be as important as if I kept it on my counter as most people do. For the sake of simplicity, I am giving this product a 4 out of 5.
