Does the roller plate have a wide surface?

There are 5 1/2 inches of space on each side

Doesn't it need to be washed down with soap and water to be sanitized before use? Whether it was a returned item or not, I am not sure who handled the package before shipping. ?

We used a damp cloth to wipe the surface off, since it says not to submerge in water. I don't know if soap and water will work, just that it says not to submerge.

Happiness is in the air for hubby! I asked my husband why he wanted to make fresh pasta and he said he wanted to too, so I started looking for a pasta machine that would work well but should be cheap enough that we wouldn't be upset if he only makes pasta once a week

of choices, but this is the best deal I could find and they attach to our kitchen aid. They are heavy, and they make a good impression when used - at least the one time I've used them. There is one thing that I don't like, you have to brush them out and then wipe them with damp cloths to clean them. However, almost all of them echoed the same sentiment.

It is better if you pick 3 A set of one piece Due to my limited use of cut attachments, I do not have to pay per piece. Using the brush that comes with the package, it is easy to clean. The fettuccini we had last night was homemade with this! There was a great deal of interest in it. I am very pleased with the pasta roller, and it cuts the pasta With directions that include a few recipes and clearly explain how to use the roller and cutters, this kit is perfect for beginners. There is a need to make sure the lock is screwed in extremely well, else the roller will start rolling, but that was an easy There was just a little effort involved in screwing it It would be great to use this tool to make homemade pasta in our family! I can't wait to try more recipes.
