The answer is yes. This only had one problem The tube managed to get holes in it and went bad rather quickly.

The seal didn't crack when I tried it for the first time, unlike my last three. Despite having a powerful suction, it is unable to hold in liquid, so it is a bit messy.

This is a great Basting meats is in fact a great way to cook them, but to avoid basting the bottom of your oven you have to learn how to 'suck it up and hold' before you let the juices run
