It would take me a few weeks to review this after I used it for a few weeks. I received it in a nicely packaged package without any of the extraneous packing for shipping that some companies use. I found it to be easy to use and intuitive. There were white numerals over a blue background on the display, making it easy to read. We had no trouble tare (zero) and it was easy to figure out the different types of weights in both metric and American units. I was impressed with the accuracy of the weights with the scale the first time I used it. Following a few weeks of use, however, the weights in grams began to fluctuate There were not many of them, but getting an accurate weight was difficult. As a result I had to constantly check the weight, settling for 2 out of 3 weighing in the same direction. would like it to be accurate because I am currently putting my pets on a diet, as per the veterinarian's orders, and I need it to be accurate In an effort to get the problem resolved, I have sent this feedback to the manufacturer.

In years, this is the first time I've ever had to give a negative review. It is a fantastic looking scale, and I am able to read the read out clearly, but when I put food on it to weigh it, I am not able to get a reading until after I have removed the food from it. Neither the scale nor its batteries can be turned off the scale only goes off when it is on its own. It would have been great if I had returned, but I threw away the box. There is another issue that I have with the unit, namely that it did not come in a box with packing material. Maybe that was the reason that it is so terrible.

In my opinion, the tare feature makes a big difference. The bowl can be easily tarred in order to add more sections in the future. A great addition for any cook's kitchen since it reduces or eliminates the need for measuring cups.
