When you say maximum weight, do you mean how heavy it can go?

In the scale, 0 is a unit of measurement. Each increment of 1g is up to a maximum of Some of the high-profile films I've watched have used it A high-end product It's endorsed by a lot of coffee shops, so that's good. 0 is the number. In order to extract espresso, the amount of coffee must be measured to a precision of 1g.

The dimensions are 17 x 14 x 11 inches, according to the product details. I can't imagine how that's possible. In what dimensions does the real world exist?

A little over six inches by one inch. This is a 5" x 9" card. This is "5". 152 x 41 x 240 millimeters are the exact dimensions in millimeters.

This scale is not waterproof, is there a way to make it so?

The question you've asked is almost the same as one I had. Now I'm using it, and I have poured hot water several times into this scale by accident. As of now, the system works fine. *br>This means that normal use of the product is not problematic. Moreover, you can use the drip station from Hario (acrylic model) with this scaler, so the drip station will practically cover the I wish you all the best with your brewing endeavors.

Selected User Reviews For Hario V60 Drip Coffee Scale and Timer, Black

The material is brittle and susceptible One year of careful, moderate use was all it took for the scale to break
3/5

Plastic is used for the top of the scale, and you can see in the photo that it is thin and flimsy. This scale worked well for a short time, but its construction was poor, so the scale wasn't worth its.

It is not reliable at all
3/5

The one that works is one of three I bought. Two of them were required, so I bought two Three out of six were dead when I received them, so I returned two and bought a third. After a few months, that one could not be turned on. there is a problem with the capacitive buttons, since if I open the case and short the power button wires with a screwdriver, the tablet will work for a few more days. Every single time I add or remove a bean, I have to wait for 2 seconds. Unfortunately, it's not good because - I like the way it looks
- In addition to its amazing features, the scale and timer in a single device make it very simple While everyone recommends this model, there isn't much else in this price range that looks as nice and offers the same features.

But fool me twice? I'm out.

This could be made better but is functional
4/5

After I purchased this scale, I have used it every evening to weigh my beans, grounds, water, and pour over powders. As far as pros and cons go, I find the The pros are The <> It's amazing how well the timers work
> While the timer is active, the device does not shut down automatically > This model does not produce annoying beeping sounds like some others, which is a pro The <> There was a delay in adjusting the weights In real time, I find it difficult to measure the exact amount of water to pour because I see the number before it has already exceeded that amount in real time. I wouldn't say this is the biggest flaw in the The reason for my 4-star rating is also that I think this product is worth your money. The <> It can automatically shut down after a while into a low power mode. This function may prove useful for people who have trouble remembering to turn their computer.

There are gremlins
3/5

The first one I bought was in December of this year. A timer will occasionally start and stop, and turning it off and on again will usually fix the problem. By the middle of March 2020, the timer issue has become much more problematic. When a pour was underway, it would stop, take more time to count up to the next second or reset to zero and start over from the beginning. This is all happening without me even There were also minor issues with the scale side because it could not determine what weight to set. The resistance would constantly rise and fall several tenths of a gram when the unit was going up or down. As someone else mentioned, it is difficult to get in touch with Hario, but I found an email address on their site. I contacted them, and they were very My video of the issue was sent to them along with the email we sent back and forth. I will not post the video as it is quite long. Since Hario sent out a new one free of charge from Japan, that was good enough for them. I love it. Nevertheless, after a few weeks, the gremlins started to appear on this one as well. These are the exact same It doesn't seem to be working after trying to replace batteries. While you can halt and start and start and stop during a pourover, you obviously cannot stop and start in the middle of one. MultiTimer is the name of the device There are multiple timers in the Apple store). Despite the constant rise and fall of the scale, it would go up and down for days. Also, the timer continued to run on its own. The item wouldn't stop no matter how many times you turned it on or off or removed the batteries, so we reviewed it. It was the old one that I used instead of this one. For the first time, Hario has disappointed users with a product. They have both been very well treated so it doesn't seem to be abuse because they both love TLC. There are several things I would like to replace these with. Other customers haven't had any problems with theirs, so it's disappointing that I haven't.

It's a nice It's a nice the materials used are not of very high quality
3/5

My top base separated from the bottom foundation within a few days of receiving it. Only four very thin plastic pieces keep it in place, and they are easily broken. One of the other posters in this thread had the same experience.

We recommend using this device at home
4/5

Overall, I am quite pleased with this purchase and would recommend it. While the scale won't be better than an Acaia scale, it is still an acceptable compromise given the price.

The display is a negative LCD, which means the whole screen is black with only monochrome numerals. My eyes were able to read clearly in direct sunlight because the contrast is good. There is also a white backlight on the display and no problems can be seen in dimly lit kitchens.

From the time the machine is turned off until weighing begins, it takes a few seconds for the weight to begin counting. It takes just long enough for you to notice, but not too long for you to become too distracted. There is an integrated rechargeable NiMH battery that can be replaced, but it cannot be removed by the user. Although the instructions indicate that the scale should be replaced when the battery runs down, I am disappointed that there are no available service options. Putting a Lithium battery in this application would have been ideal, however NiMH should work equally well. One of the biggest complaints I have is regarding the buttons. There are two capacitive touch buttons on it, and I simply don't like those. When you press a button you have to locate it by looking down as there are no tactile ridges to help you orient, then carefully observe the display to confirm that your press was registered since a beep does not sound when you press a button. Having a small measurement lag is normal for this scale. Although hard to quantify, in general a gram's weight can be calculated in less than a second, and from a gram to a gram the weight can be calculated very quickly.
