Questions & Answers

Is it manufactured in a specific location?

On the slicer, I was not able to find the country of origin. packaging of the product may have had the country of manufacture printed on it. According to my research, Zyliss products are made in Switzerland, although I have not verified this. In comparison with other products of the same category, this one seems high quality and not

The following edits have been made to my previous question Make sure the wires cut through the egg cleanly and completely Is the base the reason for not stopping short?

The wires go into the base of the egg cleanly. The wires go through the shell of the egg with no problems. It sometimes doesn't cut through the little pieces after I run the egg cutter through it in three directions when I use it to make egg salad. Those are really small pieces after I run the egg cutter through it in three This egg slicer has been great for me, and I highly recommend it. It is easy to use once or twice, so you shouldn't have any issues.

Do you think it can be put ?

This I've done, but a clean soft toothbrush does a better job at cleaning in crevices than the spray with no ill effects.

Is it possible to retract the piercing pin so that child use of this tool can be accommodated?

The pin of the top of the egg cutter is hidden under the top of the cutter when it is closed, and cannot be accessed without opening the cutter. A small child can easily open the cutter, so you'll want to open it by yourself, or as close as possible to it. The pin of the egg cutter has a slight protrusion when it is fully open with both hinge tops in the open position, as shown by the raised red circle about one inch in diameter and slightly protruding from the pin. As I ran my finger over the pin, I did not notice how high it protrudes from the red circle around it, not enough to scratch my finger unless I pushed Although the pin is not sharp, it could splinter a child if pressed hard enough. It might be a good idea to order the cutter, inspect it yourself in light of the ages of your children, and return it unused if there is a concern. Ideally, you will allow your children to operate the cutter's central cutting device which is made of plastic and is rounded rather than sharp. If they can understand and follow directions, they should be able to operate it without any problems. It is my hope that this information

It is a great slicer, wedger, and poker
5/5

We're on Keto now, so we eat a lot of eggs and other vegetables. My point is that I'm talking a lot. The same way a farmer keeps his farm in business by himself. It's no secret that hard boiled eggs are nature's perfect snack, which is why many of these are boiled eggs. What's better? Proteins, nutrients, the convenience of packaging, or a delicious cookie seasoned with salt? However, I must I found an old sock that somebody had put on It consists of The hill's aluminum egg slicer got ruined in the dishwasher, and since I didn't like eggs dusted with aluminum, I was forced to acquire a new egg In our opinion, this one is right on the money. The specifics are A device for piercing eggs. This can be used to poke the fat end of an egg before boiling it. As a result, that bubble inside is removed, and they are less likely to crack. The poker pops out only when the user pushes on it, and it is designed so that you have to press on it specifically for it to do so. You won't have the poker sticking out all the time that way. Be careful not to press your finger on it though. In this case, the egg I like how easy it is to use and how well it works. Here's what you need for the egg The following is something I've never seen or experienced before and I really like The versatility and convenience of eating wedges instead of slices for salad would be great! Using the wedge cutter is not difficult, but you should remember to place the slicer on the plate after use. I like it a lot Following the instructions is all there is to it! Clean the cabin In the dishwasher, you put the whole thing. I'm so happy! * Strength What did I forget to mention? We eat a lot of eggs. After the amount of use this has already gotten, it is doing just fine. If anything were to happen to it, I would certainly buy another one in its place. This is overall one of the best slices I have ever used.

It was very disappointing to slice eggs with this machine
3/5

Despite my best efforts, this egg cutter leaves a lot to be desired. In the end, I replaced my forty year old cutter with this one because the wire finally broke. A previous one had a cut that went There is a small opening in the center of this one that does not cut all the way through and you need to use a toothpick to pick out all the egg remnants after it has been cut. I noticed that the slicer does not cut all the way through as it is not powered up all the way. It is impossible for the slicing blade to cut all the way to the bottom to serve as a slicer and wedge cutter. There is a wedge cutting blade blocking my path! There have been reports that it cut all the way through but might leave little bits of paper behind. A little piece of it is left behind. This is because it is not entirely cut As the product is inexpensive, returning it is not worth the shipping expenses, so I plan to donate it locally instead of shipping it back. Your money is worth saving. In the event that I find a better slicer, I will update.

You don't just get an egg slicer - you get so much more This is the secret to easy peeling of eggs! Hard boiled eggs are my favorite breakfast, which I have every day for breakfast sliced onto whole wheat toast
5/5

It took me endless research to learn how to cook a perfect hard-boiled egg (bring to a boil in cold water, then take off the heat, cover the pot, and let sit for 12 minutes), but I never achieved the perfect sliced egg. In the end, I decided to purchase an egg slicer after the lightbulb had gone off. I discovered when I started my search that I could also get a device that would cut into wedges eggs for my composed salads, so I of course wanted that too. after seeing the Zyliss, it seemed like it would add a lot of bulk to the garment. It's perfect. The design is brilliant. It had an egg piercer that is supposed to stop the eggs from breaking when they are boiled, so I was interested when I received it and read the instructions. This was a crazy idea to me, since it seemed like a hole in the egg could leak out what was inside? However, sometimes one or two of the dozen eggs would crack, so I decided to give it a go. Although you can hear a faint cracking sound when you lightly press down on the needle area, it was extremely small, so you won't really be able to see a hole in the egg. My concerns about egg leakage were allayed when I noticed that one egg developed a small hairline crack visible only on closer inspection. However, the egg did not bubble and open and the yolk did not come It was true, however, that every single egg peeled perfectly and without issue. Every single one I opened immediately after refrigeration, as well as those I opened later. On the large end, which was where I had peeled it, there was a small pocket of air. It made the peel come off easily with the membrane and every egg was perfect. HAPPY NEW YEAR! My morning routine now includes making breakfast as soon as I wake up. It's the little things that make a big difference. Even though life is tough, you don't have to make eggs to survive! If you look closely at my hard-boiled egg, you'll see that the yolk doesn't have a green ring around it. You'll see that because the boiling method is working! I can assist you by conducting research on the internet.

Unfortunately, Wedger doesn't work as well as it should
3/5

As Zyliss is a great brand, I thought this egg slicer would perform well. I cannot use the wedger. In other words, it produces wedges that are misshaped. If I were to use a knife, I could cut wedges quicker and more easily, as well as clean them more quickly. If I had to choose just one, I would choose Does one need the extra bulk of a wedger that is as inefficient as a crumpler? Just in case you're wondering, this egg slicer does not work well for slicing mushrooms. Since the early 1990s, I had an old metal egg slicer that worked great for slicing everything imaginable You can find eggs, mushroom, strawberries, and Although the metal wires began to wear out after over a decade, it worked perfectly for over a decade. I like the slim design of the drawers because it fits more easily.

When I used it for the first time, it broke a wire! As I said, I bought it because it sounded more sturdy than others online

I like it a lot! It does not cut all the way down, but I have no idea why people are saying that
5/5

It has been a few months since I bought mine and so far I haven't encountered any issues. I love the little thing that keeps the egg in place. It makes picking the shells up so much easier. Product that is ideal for use in the dishwasher, and is extremely easy to use.

This software accomplishes the task for which it was designed
5/5

There is no doubt in my mind that it cuts wonderfully. The thing is, my kid likes to do it a lot. Taking the egg piercer for a spin took a while for me to trust. I didn't know for a long time whether I had punched a hole or not at first since it makes tiny holes I can't see. I learned that just because something is invisible does not mean it is not present.

Slice cooked eggs with the best machine on the planet
5/5

There were so many egg slicers out there, but all of them were crappy until I learned about Made of excellent quality (Germany), two different cutting angles allow you to mix hard-boiled eggs quickly. * Easier to clean than other mixers, simply rinse after using to prevent the eggs from sticking.
