The egg slicer you asked about is what we use. I hear you. Hello. A while back, I was eating eggs so I picked them up and rotated 90 degrees and sliced them. In addition, there are small mushrooms that have been sliced.
That would seem to be the case. Get in touch with the company and let them know what happened. Depending on what they tell you, they might be able to replace the wires or supply you with replacements.
There is no peeling off of the coating. It has only been about six weeks since I purchased it, but I have already used it several times already. Despite its light weight, it is not made from plastic. There are many things I like about it.
In short, yes. Upon closer inspection, the bottom of the base (which appears to be cast) is engraved with the German language. FWIW, I am still using the egg slicer to cut eggs and to make sandwiches We continue to use it with mushrooms, and it still works Despite their rigidity, the cutting "wires" remain exactly the same. My satisfaction with this device remains high.

It was made in Germany that influenced my decision to buy this egg slicer. Despite using it daily, I purchased the product in July of last year. I should be able to use this for at least one year, even though I use it frequently. One of the wire guidelines cracked as I was slicing an egg!.
WARNING If you are considering purchasing, BEWARE. The next time I purchase a product, I will opt for another manufacturer.
The egg slicer is used for slicing eggs, strawberries, and mushrooms by my family. It can be used for anything from 1 to The dishwasher gets tossed in the top rack every time I use it, and it still looks and works like new. I bought it in June 2011 and I use it four times a week. There are a lot of wires in the wire cutter and they easily cut food. Though this slicer is a little more expensive than others on the market, the combination of good reviews and the fact that it is made in Germany convinced me I should Having used it for seven years, I still find it to be worth the investment!.
The product I really wanted is one that slices Despite what they say, this isn't the case. I have owned two of these machines and both broke on their very first attempt at I snapped a wire, and the company's customer support is okay, but they don't have any contact info on their site. Essentially, this all steel, extra-strong tool is a good quality product for its price. $20 can buy a tough model who can slice eggs. I have never experienced a failure with an egg-cutter device that was merely intended to cut eggs, so I don't think a model costing $6 is any less reliable. You won't be disappointed! Don't waste your money!.
After using it a number of times, the wire came apart. Reviews are quite positive about this product, so I bought it. Using it a few times caused the wire to break It can be used only on mushrooms or soft boiled eggs every few months (try it only on a few mushrooms or hard boiled eggs each time. ).
I received a broken wire with this product that leads me to believe that it is not as sturdy as previously stated. My order was returned because it didn't seem to have the quality feel that I was expecting. In the end, I bought the Oxxo slicer made of plastic that I prefer over the steel one. A cheaper Oxxo comes with a rubber base and just seems better, plus it cost half as much.
2017 was the year that I bought it. When I evaluate products, I like to wait a while to use them and then give them an honest review. I was very impressed with this product and would recommend it without hesitation. The fact that some reviewers stated that the wires were prone to breaking caused me to be hesitant about purchasing this. So far, I've never had any problems with it, and I use it often to make egg salad for my family.
It was only when I bought it that I realised how much I needed it. You can easily make egg salad or add sliced eggs to salads when you have this device-it is almost effortless. The room is large enough for me to do a double cut on eggs- I can cut them once each They are then turned again and the process is repeated. I have had this for several months now and have learned how to do a quick cut, so I haven't broken any wires. In general, I may not do well with mushrooms, or anything else for that matter. I am good with a knife, but there is no need to use it extensively. It is best for cutting eggs along multiple axes as they tend to stick to the knife and it is hard to get clean cuts along multiple axes.
