With a little extra room around them, I use them all the time on jumbo eggs. Nothing to worry about.
It is only the wires that are made from stainless steel, as the description states. There appears to be no rust problem since the epoxy coating on the rest of the device seems to be durable and heavy enough.
In fact, it can be placed in the dishwasher. This is an excellent
The same thing happened to me. I don't think it was glued or attached in any way. Although it cannot be used right now, it can still be used later. You could place that piece in the right spot and it would still work.

Because I am so paranoid they will choke on the fruit, I cut it into bite-sized pieces, but I also wanted a small tool that I could use on the counter without it having to be plugged in, like most strawberry tools do. The egg tool I chose worked perfectly with strawberries of all sizes, so I'm glad I went with it. I am able to cut all the way through the strawberry if I put the pointing part of the strawberry down, but if I put it up then it does, so make sure you play with that to get it done in one quick opening and closing. We recommend this if you have a lot of strawberries to wedge. Unless otherwise stated, I usually use a knife to cut the stems first.
Wouldn't it be much more straightforward to use a knife? Because the yolk seems to hold onto that knife like a longy. This makes perfect egg wedges, which can be used for salads or for breakfast. *I had it in my wish list for less than a month before I decided it was worth it. The logical answer to eating a lot of hard boiled eggs is to spend more.
In a recent estate sale, I bought one of these, and I put it in the dishwasher, where it corroded to an ugly gray color. The cheap deal I had got was ruined, but I liked it so much that I found this on Amazon that I bought. I'm with you! My guess is that it is dishwasher safe, however I am checking to be sure. According to the image on Amazon, it's the same as the real thing.
My favorite thing about this slicer is its simplicity.
To keep this in the closed position, you need to slide the provided plastic cap over the two handles. I would have given this 5 stars, but did not, because to keep it closed you need to slide the cap over the two handles. I used to have one just like it that had a little locking switch at the end when I was a kid.
This is a product of the highest quality.
The wedge cuts are better for salads and eating plain as opposed to the traditional egg slices one would get from a store. My search took me to many stores, but I was not able to find one in stock. The Internet is a great source of information, I'm glad I found this one. I received the order quickly, and I am satisfied with the quality of the product.
