Got it so I could I like the way the plastic handles where the steel wires are connected seem to have a lot of give. It makes perfectly even slices of spam. It was handled with great care in order to avoid I think this product would be better if its slicing handle were made of metal as well. Here's today's update It certainly lived up to my fears, as I used it twice before the wires collapsed. I strongly urge you not to The spamblocker I'm using now uses these cheap wires, so I need some alternative designs to replace it. The second update Found a temporary fix for the stretched wires, slipped some tooth picks behind the wires and the problem was solved They will bend drastically when stretched, but you will note that the plastic will not flex like a rubber band. Between now and now, I ordered bamboo bread slice guides that should make usable the thin slice bread guides.
Although it was a little harder that I expected it to be, it was able to cut through spam. We sort of felt like we were going to break. I have used it a few times and have not had any problems.
The design is a bit wobbly, but the job is A great price for the quality.
Yes, but doing it this way makes the process quicker Our family lived for three years in Hawaii and my children are addicted to Spam musubi. They make this all the time now that they learned how to use the slicer and mold.
While quarantined, we have a lot of time to cook at home, and it's so much fun to do this.
After the first use, the wire stretched out a little. The title indicates what the article is about. My favorite aspect of it is its size. After the first time, the strings began to stretch out. I still find it useful, but it's not really all that great.
Musubis are easier to make when SPAM is cut up! If you press too fast, the strings will break! You just have to press slowly otherwise the strings will.
Mushrooms and strawberries respond well to this treatment. The slices are nice and thick. The new kind is more durable than the old.
