Questions & Answers
In my box, I found a roll chopper.
I made curly fries with it, and the potatoes were slightly larger than 2 inches in diameter.
Made in China under the Mueller brand, which is a European, specifically an Austrian one.
As you turn the handle, a skewer keeps the tougher vegetable in place. I've done hard carrots before, but I don't see why butternut squash pieces wouldn't work as well.

Never, ever fails to deliver. This time, however, I purchased a spiralizer for the very first time. I've never used it before, despite my desire to do so because I adore "zoodles" - Noodles made from zucchini. As a result, I'm unsure how to put one together or use it. I was a little confused when I first opened the box, but once I figured out where the various parts of the spiralizer are "hiding" (with the help of the instructions), everything else was simple. Keep this in mind: Because this item contains many sharp parts, keep it out of the reach of children. br>Here's something else to consider: After each use, wipe down the spiralizer and blades. Because the vegetables will stick to them, cleaning will be difficult (and everything is sharp, as I mentioned). Dishwashing should be done with a brush to avoid coming into contact with the blades.
It accomplishes what it sets out to do and is relatively simple to operate. It's a little difficult to clean because of the razor-sharp blades. Yes, it says dishwasher safe, but we all know how dishwashers treat sharp blades, so I still recommend hand washing with a small brush. Instead of searching through drawers for all the parts, I like that the blades are all in one place and everything fits together. This spiralizer isn't a heavy-duty restaurant machine, but it'll do the job for any home chef for a reasonable price.
Initial configuration- Although there was a small learning curve, I really like the spiralizer's storage design and functionality. The suction cups were also helpful in keeping the unit in place while preparing more difficult foods such as potatoes. I thought the blade options were adequate for the price of $20. I had previously purchased a spiralizer for the same price that did not provide me with any cutting size options. Overall, I believe this is a fantastic little kitchen tool for anyone who enjoys zoodles and other similar recipes.
The instructions were difficult to follow the first time I used it. Pieces were strewn about, and even when I figured out which way they should face when attached, I couldn't get the handle close enough to the blade to do anything unless the lid was installed perfectly. The second time around went a lot better, though I still have trouble getting the lid on and off. br>br>This is great for recipes like scalloped potatoes or a cucumber salad that require very finely sliced vegetables, as it saves a ton of time and eliminates the risk of sliced fingers. However, I'm not convinced that the setup is worthwhile. grating grating grating grating grating grating grating For that, I'm thinking I'll use my handheld grater. br>br>Apart from the rotating piece that holds the blade, cleaning is simple. It's just a matter of wiping down the joints and hoping no liquid got too far into them.
Amazing! I was unsure what to expect when I received this spiraler because it was my first time using one. When I opened it, I was looking for various parts and blades, but there was nothing loose in the box. Everything was neatly organized into a puzzle-like unit. Each of the four blades had a storage slot and was simple to insert for use. It was incredibly simple to use once I had it ready to go (3 minutes at most). In a matter of seconds, we had cucumber chips and zucchini angel hair. Best of all, my kids were willing to try new vegetables simply because of the unique shapes they took in the spiralizer. Summary: It's incredibly simple to assemble, use, clean, and store this item. I can see this being used in salads, soups, and appetizers. This is a product that I would strongly recommend.
I had been putting off purchasing a spiralizer because I assumed it was merely a gimmick, similar to a hula hoop. I was completely mistaken. I'm overjoyed to have one at long last, and I couldn't have picked a better one. It's incredibly simple to operate and cleans up quickly. I own a number of Mueller products, all of which are well-made, and this piece is a great addition to my kitchen.
This spiralizer had piqued my interest, and I couldn't wait to get it! I've been trying to come up with healthier alternatives, and a friend recommended that I get a spiralizer to make veggie pasta. It's extremely quick and simple to operate. All of the pieces are well-fitting and take up little space in storage. The best part is that there will no longer be any skin slices in the food. I used to have a veggie slicer, but it ended up cutting me more than the vegetables, so this is fantastic! Someone was unquestionably concerned about their safety.
It takes a few minutes to figure out how to use the unit, but once you do, it folds up into a nice solid rectangle. What I'd say is that it was bigger than I expected based on the photos I saw online; shame on me for not checking the dimensions. However, I would caution people that storing it takes up some space, so make sure you have enough space before ordering. I believe they could reduce the size while keeping the functionality intact. Having said that, it works well and makes cutting any vegetable or potato a breeze.
