Edit: Seller promptly replaced the incorrect item without requiring me to return it (which would have been too much trouble for a single grater to be worth it). br>This grater is fine, but I had ordered the thinner stick version with a finer grate and was disappointed to receive this instead. I suppose it will continue to work, but it will take up more space and will not function as advertised.

We tried this after returning another oval grater in the hopes that it would be better. That was true, but it wasn't perfect. It's impossible to fit a brick of cheese on this, and it's not even close to being awesome. I adore my Microplane, and we adore our zester and parmesan cheese. This was better than those, but not as good. It was sent back, not because it wouldn't work, but because it wasn't a ten, and we had to get real. You must be a ten in order to own real estate.

I've had a Microplane grater for a long time and really enjoy it. But, for larger shredding, I wanted to upgrade my box grater. This is perfect; the handle isn't quite as long as my original, but that doesn't appear to be a problem.

I like how the handle fits into my hand and is comfortable to hold. The zester is razor-sharp and performs admirably when zesting. This zester is one of my favorites. Anyone looking for a well-made, easy-to-use zester should definitely consider this product.
