It spiralizes potatoes, but for the best results, choose long-shaped potatoes or use zucchini or cucumber instead.

As a result, our family has been attempting to eat a little more healthily. That's where this vegetable spiral cutter comes in handy. It's small, and when you're done with it, you can toss it in a drawer. It's very easy to disassemble, which makes cleaning it a breeze. They have two different settings: one for chopping and the other for spiraling!.
I'm well aware that I purchased one of the cheapest spiralizers on the market, so I shouldn't be too critical of the product's quality. I'm going to be disappointed if I can't even press both buttons at the same time to get the fourth cutting option they advertise. To get the zucchini to cut more into a noodle form, I had to HOLD DOWN both buttons while rotating it. Even when my hands were finally hurting from the pressure of holding down the bottom buttons as well as holding from the top (I imagine this would be slightly easier if I had longer fingers, but I don't, so holding the top and bottom in a C-shape was actually quite painful and trying of a task holding the top and bottom in a C-shape was actually quite painful and trying of a task holding the top and bottom in a C-shape was actually quite painful and trying of because it had to be a one-of-a-kind-of-a-kind-of- I was left-handed because the other hand had to keep rotating the zucchini, and my knuckles, which were gripping the spiralizer, were preventing me from doing so easily even then! ) I used a single blade to test the other two settings. The buttons aren't going to stay in place for long! After a few turns, they kept popping up, causing the wide-ribbon cut to take over. br>br>In general, the spiralizer's button mechanisms are flimsy. The amount of effort it took me to get this thing to work by holding down the buttons negated any "ease of use" value it might have had.
It's very easy to use; simply place the zucchini in the center, rotate clockwise, and you're done. Cleaning it is also a breeze. Cleaning is as simple as rinsing with water. As a result, I'm a big fan of it. br>br>This spiralizer is a handy little workhorse that easily replaces an old broken mandoline, weighs next to nothing, and stores in a drawer or cupboard in less than 4 x 4 x 4 inches, making it the ideal addition to my already cluttered kitchen. br>br>I'm pleased with this product in general because I didn't want to store anything larger and didn't want a model that required batteries or electrical outlets. It's a good option if you're looking for simple spiralizers. br>br>That is something to think about. If you have small children, keep an eye on them if they want to use it. After that, put it away; this cute little thing is fun to use and looks like a toy, but it isn't. Kids will not realize there is a risk unless they are told.
I own a large spiralizer and am addicted to it. I bought this while visiting my family because I was missing the convenience of zoodles (gluten intolerant). I adore it because it's simple and compact, and the zoodles aren't as varied as my more expensive one, but it's half the price and twice the convenience.
I'm completely enamored with this! It's a breeze to operate. My only two complaints are that it doesn't work well with small zucchinis, but it works well with medium-sized zucchinis. It's great that it's so big. With the small ones, it still gets the job done, but it takes a little longer. br>br>Cleaning is simple, but I'm not sure how clean the blade gets because the bottom fixture is right there and I can't easily reach the underside.
But when my normally dysfunctional garden produced an abundance of zucchini and yellow squash, I needed to find a new way to use the surplus, so I turned to the spiralizer. It arrived late last night, and I put it to good use right away. The instructions on the box are written in a small font that required some squinting to read, but I experimented with all of the different settings, which were all very easy to adjust and worked flawlessly. I couldn't believe how simple it was to spiralize and ribbonize zucchini with this device. It does not necessitate any effort on your part. I had a gigantic bowl of zoodles in no time. I had to Google what to do with them because I'd never done it before, and I settled on sautéing them. Zoodles, while not a perfect substitute for pasta in my opinion, were tasty nonetheless. I'm excited to use this on potatoes for hashbrowns and ribbon fries, as well as carrots and anything else I can fit in there and slice into fun thin shapes! It's simple to use, clean, and have some fun with. It was well worth the money!.
I'm really looking forward to making a healthy noodle substitute - which my kids are completely enamored with! It has two different settings for noodle thickness, which is fantastic. The material appears to be thick and long-lasting. And it's all disassembled for simple cleaning! I'm very pleased with the outcome.
Due to the abundance of zucchini this summer, I've used it a lot. It appeals to me. Although it would be nice if it came with a small brush for cleaning, a tooth brush will suffice. I like that instead of a cone-shaped piece, you get a small tubular middle piece.
