I had to get one, of course. and. . oh. my. Watermelon has always been one of my least favorite fruits to cut up. mess. And the pieces are all different sizes, shapes, and so on. what exactly is it? Do. not. Inquire as to how it works. That's all it is. It's incredibly cool. It also cuts the pieces in such uniform, perfect pieces, which is great if you're OCD (which I'm not). This is fantastic, and I strongly advise you to check it out.

One in particular is a stickler for details. As a result, I went out and bought it for her. It's simple to use, quick, and doesn't make a mess out of your watermelon. She whizzes through a whole watermelon in no time, and the kids adore it! I gave one to my other daughter; she doesn't eat as much fruit as I do, so I doubt she was thrilled. For those who are short on time, this is an excellent tool to use because it is simple to use and cuts your time in half! It makes a mess of cutting the watermelon, but who cares unless you're making a fancy watermelon fruit dish? Just another crook looking for a quick buck. I'm just disappointed that so many people praised it and declared it to be the greatest thing since sliced bread. I should have trusted my instincts rather than their advice, but oh well, live and learn. The melon scoop, on the other hand, was fantastic!.

My watermelons used to sit on my counter until they rotted because no one wants to go through the trouble of cutting them up. No, no, no! This device is so simple to use that my 11-year-old asks to cut up the watermelon with it. It works well and is secure.

This is a fantastic idea. but. It's the quality that I'm looking for. I've probably used the melon baller about a dozen times and it's already loose. I've used the slicer twice and it's great, but I get the impression it's poorly made and won't last a year.
