br>After reading a lot of reviews on the other ones, I decided on these (despite the fact that there were none at the time of purchase) and I'm glad I did. br>For starters, there are two sizes available: small and large. bonus! They are extremely durable, open and close smoothly, and the Silicone handle grips are extremely comfortable! br>I just finished making my meatballs and couldn't be more pleased. Keeping in mind that when making meatballs, you should always handle the meat gently and never pack it so that it bakes up tender, I decided to use this gadget to scoop them out, then quickly roll them in my hands and place them on my baking sheets. Yes, my hands got dirty, but they were all the same size (so they baked evenly) and it went by so quickly that I was ecstatic. Yes, you can scoop them up, scrape off the excess, and drop them onto sheets, but it tends to have issues releasing as you go, and they aren't the prettiest. br>I highly recommend this product; I found that I saved time overall!.
I liked how simple it was to form the meatballs. The rubber grips, on the other hand, came off after only three meatballs. I was forced to complete the task without the grips, which hurt my fingers. I attempted, but failed, to reinstall them. If I hadn't already used them, I'd send them back. They would have gotten five stars if I hadn't had this issue.
Let's see how things turn out. I really want to like them for cake cops, but they're a little smaller than I'm used to. Although they are more oval in shape, I stuffed them with a good amount of mixture in them. Sticking wasn't an issue for me. As a result, I appreciate it. I'll call it a success if the stick doesn't split them in half due to their size. I'm crossing my fingers that they'll be simple to use.
I'm going to use these in a variety of cooking and baking recipes!.
Originally purchased to make cake pops for my grandson's birthday, it was also used to make spaghetti and meatballs. It saved me a lot of time and helped my arthritic hands with the task.
I'm also not great at portion control. This ensures that all of the meatballs are the same size; there is still some rolling to be done, but these are a huge time saver.
These are fantastic. The small is ideal for making cake pops. The rubber ring that makes it more comfortable for fingers falls off during use, which is the only negative aspect.
It worked well for falafel balls, but I had to add a lot more breadcrumbs to keep my meatballs from sticking. They couldn't even make fruit balls because they weren't strong enough. The rubber grips on the comfort grips were also quickly removed.
