It's a Chinese product.
I've only ever gotten juice from a half-lime, but squeezing lime wedges might be easier if you roll your lime on the work surface for a few seconds before cutting it into wedges.
In fact, I have a yellow one that works perfectly with lemons and limes. Just make sure you place the half fruit in the correct orientation. It extracts the juice as well as catching the seeds. And I mean completely. Simply roll your fruit in a small amount of flour before serving. Now, I've never juiced an orange before, but I am aware that one is slightly larger than the other. For those, I simply use a reamer or an old-fashioned juicer dish.
Yes. Larger limes should be tucked into the bottom section of the container. To be honest, I haven't met a lime that I couldn't squeeze in. It has made me very happy.

I've never made a bad Amazon purchase before.
After that, the round press presses into the lime's backside - The juice comes out of the small slits on the bowl on the side with the peel. br>br>I believe the manufacturer should emphasize this critical point, perhaps through a video demonstration. It would address many of the complaints I've seen in the reviews about how ineffective this juicer is. br>br>This thing feels like it's made of cast aluminum with a tough powder coat finish. When I hold it in my hands, it feels very solid. I work out *cough* *cough*, and I was worried about cracking this thing if I gripped it too tightly, but it's been very durable so far, with almost no flex, and my forearms are getting thicker from all the limes I'm pressing with it.
For an event, I worked on our 'lemon shake ups. ' I made about 50, and even though my hands were tired, I kept going. I now have the firm, strong handshake of a hundred fearless warriors. Imusa lemon squeezer, thank you very much.
To be honest, I assumed this lemon squeezer would be a low-cost item similar to those sold at Wally World. It is not inexpensive. It's big and solid, and it appears to be long-lasting. br>br>I only got it to squeeze one lemon per day, but I can easily see someone squeezing hundreds with this bad boy. br>br>In addition, the shipping was much faster than they had predicted. THIS PRODUCT SHOULD BE PURCHASED.
It may not extract all of the juice, but it functions reasonably well, according to other reviews. However, it is deserving of a one-star rating due to either poor design or backwards manufacturing. Take notice of the slots on the item's concave side. Those slots can be found on the lime's exterior (peel) side. where there isn't a drop of juice. The other convex piece is solid, and it presses into the lime pulp. It prevents the juice from being extracted by squeezing around the solid convex half of the squeezer, and it works against the force used to extract it. As a result, it takes more effort to extract less juice, which squirts out and around the kitchen under pressure. It's built backwards somewhere between design and production. More juice would come out with less effort if the slotted openings were on the convex piece; there must be some kind of award for this kind of backward design that survives solely due to industrial obstinacy.
It's a good product that works well, but I have the impression that if I leverage it at the wrong time, it will break. That's what happened with my previous one, but I'm not interested in paying more for a different brand (apparently, these things break regardless of brand), so I'll take this for the price any day.
As an added bonus, when using the IMUSA J100, the amount of lime juice is increased. We prefer the sweetness of fresh lime or a 50/50 lemon/lime combination in our main meal, and this LIME SQUEEZER does a great job with either, including when a wedge of each is sqeezed at the same time. Don't be fooled by the bright green, glossy finish because underneath is an all metal work horse. Clean up is a breeze with a quick rinse and a quick run through the dishwasher. We're even considering putting sugar, water, and ice in the limeade for the kids to sell to the neighbors as "fresh squeezed limeade. " "IMUSA" crew, you did a fantastic job!.
I'm sorry I didn't get this sooner. We had an older lime squeeze that was peeling paint, and I wasn't sure I could trust Amazon reviews (because there were so many fake ones). br>br>However, we were pleasantly surprised at how much better this one is than the one we previously praised. )br>br>So don't be as hesitant as I was. It's incredible how simple it is to use and how much juice is generated.
