This handle is very well constructed, and even after repeated dishwasher washings, it hasn't let any water penetrate. Another brilliant method involves a strip of clear resin around the base of the wires where the handle meets them in order to make the handle water-tight and prevent it from being rusty (see image). Stainless steel wires are also positioned away from the rim of the whisk when it reaches the far end. It seems odd at first, but I have found it to be a very good design because the wires don't get tangled together, the spacing helps to whisk liquids better, and the size makes it easy to hold. It has been invaluable for me to prepare eggs and add air to my batters since I make a lot of baked goods. This whisk is of excellent quality and very durable - definitely recommended!.
It is unfortunate. The whisk is actually quite nice. I have never had a problem with rust, and I have always washed it Part one and part two make up the report. It's okay for the handle to separate from the main section, but I'm not sure if that was meant to happen. Whenever we cleaned it, we would take it apart and put it back together once it was dry. A better whisk is one that has a handle and whisk part that meet at the bottom, so no food can get there. The epoxy or equivalent is filled with some kind of resin and it does a great job. I love this whisk except for the two piece part. The bottom section has a thick plastic piece that inserts into the top section and worked as it was supposed to for a long time, but the plastic piece eventually broke entirely. It hasn't been easy finding one that I like better, so I will be getting another one of these. This would be ideal if it could be made into a one-piece design.
I bought this whisk because the handle of my old whisk was broken and I can immediately tell the difference in quality between it and my old one. I like how the wires on this thing are made of stainless steel and feel durable. This whisk has wires that do not tangle like two love struck teenagers on each other. My old, cheap whisk had wires that tangled like two teenagers in love. Moreover, the handle is very comfortable to hold, so you won't slip while whisking. In my first use of the machine, the material in the back of the hand started to drop black specs into my food. My beating it as vigorously as I could might have caused the problem. If you were to go over it very gently, I am sure there will not be an issue. In the description they should have noted that. The gentle wisking is only appropriate for those of you with sensitive skin. As for the pepper, if it had been eggs, I might have been able to identify it, but it was whipped cream, and I was using vanilla extract. Buy another whisk and try again.

In the past I had a whisk that looked a lot like this one. My favorite part of it was the music. Although I have three others, the whisk was my favorite even though it was the right size, easy to hold, and did a great job. It seems to have broken. During transport, the handle broke. Initially, I was going to try to glue it back on, but I decided to find a different one. You can fluff the thin wires with ease. While I usually make meringue with a hand mixer, I was forced recently to do it the old-fashioned way, and I was surprised by how quickly the egg whites whipped up with this whisk -- much faster than with the machine I use at the restaurant.
