My own is fantastic and I have used it a lot. As of yet I have not creamed butter, sugar, or eggs, but I am confident that it will work! The balloon whisk rarely finds its way to my hand anymore.
The distance between the tip of the wire and the tip of the handle is 25 inches. A balance point of 6 is also present. The wire should be at least five inches up from the wire tip in order to keep it from flipping over).
There are six inches of whisk on the end. The flat whisk is my favorite! I don't use the balloon whisk anymore since I've been using it for so long.
If you want a nonstick one, make sure that it's plastic or coated

As a rule, I've been very pleased with the OXO products I've used when I've purchased them in the past, and this whisk is not as good. My search for a flat whisk to add to my collection of cooking tools brought me to this model, which is by far the worst of the four I tried. The whisk wires are made from lighter gauge wire and have a curved shape all the way down the length of the whisk making it the flimsiest and poorest designed of the three. The curvature of this whisk will only allow a small portion of it to make contact with the bottom of a saucepan in comparison to other whisks, which will not be as effective for deglazing a saucepan, which is its whole purpose. The shallow curvature makes it inadvisable to use it with a sauce pan as it requires you to hold it at a flatter angle to increase surface contact. This can result in accidental burns on a hot skillet rim and prevents it from being useful. The design may be simply a whisk, but even if it were made of heavier materials, over time it would break or be easily mangled in a drawer of cooking utensils and require replacement.
This is a good product. American Test Kitchen recommended it, so I bought it. The best way to find out what's cooking in America is to This whisk has excellent properties for whisking in a frying pan or in a small bowl - it holds 4 oz Takes care of every corner. It is sturdy and of.
I was inspired by episodes of the Pioneer Woman on Food Network who regularly uses a tool like this. It has already been a great help to me It is especially important to deglaze a pan and make a roux with sauces. Unlike my regular whisk, this one is easier to clean. This is a sturdy but not particularly useful tool for heavy work. Eggs are good to whip up but I don't think they can withstand being poured into a thick.
There are a number of things it will be able to do. Can you explain? In this setup, the layers of wire tines stagger at slight angles. I have enclosed photos (see below). In my opinion, this feature enables it to whisk deeper amounts of liquid than other flat whisks whose tines are staggered (all on one Combining the ease-of-use of the Oxo whisk with the durability of Ease of use This is cleaning of a staggered flat whisk, utilizing the extra surface area made by the tipped surface. A compilation of the best of the best 'Both halves of the whisky world (bullet versus flat). There is an easy-to-understand approach to the project Unlike other grip handles, where I cannot grasp my fingers properly, this one is just right length for my hand–not too long that I would impede my wrist. The handle has a unique shape that fits perfectly in my fingers. A golf club grip that is perfect like no other. The staggered tines, easy-to-use handle, and unique shape of this whisk make it perfect if you love whisks Because of its grip shape and length, I choose this whisk as my #1 for everyday use.
(Aside just a comment. It was found through a cooking show that using a whisk with a flat right-angled head improves results Combining ingredients with a left motion actually proved to be most efficient. It is also true for any style whisk, and it makes this Oxo 10" flat whisk so perfect.
There will be no balloon whisks anymore! Sorry, but nope! All the balloon whisks I had were thrown out after using this! I like this one because it is One of the reasons I love it so much over a balloon is that it flattens. Making cookies, for example, and trying to knock off the batter and get it back into the bowl, with the whisk not sticking to the other side of the bowl, is so easy. Those who are looking for a new whisky but aren't sure if this one will suit them should certainly try it Don't hesitate to give it a try! Investing in it is a smart move and well worth it.
This was one of the whisks I ordered because I needed a smaller whisk and it had positive Since I've used OXO products in the past, I thought I would try it out this time around. For its first use, the container was OK. It wasn't great, but it was smaller than expected and suitable for serving smaller portions. After I got the hang of it (it's really flat, unlike my other flat whisk, which is wrapped around a U-shape a handle shaped wire) have made me a fan. I always turn to it Now that I know how to whisk, I use it for things a whisk wouldn't have been suitable for in the past. For instance, I used it to blend seasonings into buttermilk to dip what will become It would have been easier for me to just squeeze them all together in the baggie. An even distribution would make things much easier. It did no harm) but I used it also to flip the eggs to finish the last bit of the tops. That's how easy it is. I plan to use it to mix the seasoning into the flour later today for Although I've already washed and dried it, I am planning to order another one so that I don't have to worry about it sticking to my clothes. With its excellent grip and durability, this skateboard is a great choice Weak and strong. I like it a lot. This is a very good book. Please take note of the following As I was frying the chicken, I was able to use the whisk to assist in blending the seasonings into the flour. I found that it also worked great for flipping the chicken as I was frying it. The whisk is the best, after having used chopsticks, forks and tongs of various sizes and kinds, as well as chopsticks and tongs. I will probably use 2 next time as I will have 2 next time. Wires were thin and flat, but they did not pull at the batter in covering the chicken, but just slid under it, and they were wide enough to make flipping a breeze. This is the end of my talk. This is a really cool.
Flat whisks are one of my favorite things. In spite of the fact that they're easier to clean, they don't stick nearly as much with stuff as regular balloon whisks do. The directions may say not to use it for mashed potatoes or pancake batter, I'm not sure. Since I'm not a chef, I can not prepare food. However, I think this does the job, I like the design, and I find it easy to clean. Therefore, I give it five stars.
Everything from cheese to heavy soups. I am amazed, and I am a family cook who rarely uses new equipment.
