Having a long handle makes this skimmer spoon easy to handle without getting too close to the heat. A handy hole allows you to hang it when not in use.

Three sizes are available11, 14, and 16. 4 inches/7 cm. It measures 33 cm/13 inches across, and was made of a 7 inch diameter mesh. What a great little device! on the CBS show "Views on the Road", so I decided to give them a try. The scum on top of the broth can be easily removed with them. It's the first time I used them for anything else.

The quality of the product disappoints me

The quality of these skimmers is on par with what I would expect from a 99 Store with a ten-cent discount. It's difficult to transport both of them and they have just one thin layer of mesh which gets dented easily (the large one came with a permanent dent) and is not of the quality of my other large kitchen skimmer, which has This skimmer is sized to skim the surface of jars and smaller containers, which is the only positive aspect. My opinion is that these are overpriced for what they are.

Skimmers who are excellent at what they do

I've used many skimmers over the years, and these are the best. I particularly like the size of each one and they're strong and sturdy, getting some of the smallest particles out of the way. I am very satisfied with the quality of the product. I highly recommend this book.

Thanks a lot, that works Would have liked to have had these when I was a kid! My old method of getting rid of fat was to cool my stocks overnight so that it would harden so that I could remove it the next morning

A skimmer works much faster and is less inefficient than using that technique. It worked really well to use these skimmers! As the temperatures were unseasonably cool this Memorial Day weekend, I was able to remove all the fat from beef and chicken stocks.

The utensil is incredibly useful in the kitchen

My favorite YouTube cooking channel uses these, so I ordered them as soon as I saw This set is of great quality and is very useful in the kitchen. The fat can be skimmed off of the broth when cooking chicken with these. I showed my mother these when I used them on Thanksgiving, and she asked me to give them to her. These dishes are dishwasher safe and relatively easy to clean by hand.

In my experience, when cooking chicken or beef, I dislike the fat that floats to the top and the particles that are left behind. It used to be necessary for me to use a huge screen to pass all the liquid from one pot to another to remove the gunk. There is nothing to worry about with the strainer. Rinses easily and is easy to clean.

They arrived 2 days ahead of schedule. The things they are are very sturdy for what they are and I found that to be true unlike some reviews. A nice stainless steel product, they are both attractive and of good quality. They are good value for the price. This is a highly recommended book.
