It has no markings on it that indicate where it came from. My wife, on the other hand, is a huge fan. She claims she has no idea how she managed to cook without one for so long.
It isn't magnetic in the least. It appeals to me. This strainer is outstanding.

I bought these on September 7th, began using them on September 10th, and now it's November 25th, and they're falling apart. ARE NOT WORTH THE MONEY UNLESS I JUST GOT SOME BAD ONE. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY ON THESE STRAINERS, AS THEY WILL FAIL IN TWO MONTHS. Oh, and DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CONTACT THE SELLER.
This is a fantastic product that has been expertly crafted. You must be careful not to slam the wire basket against a hard surface because the wires will bend, but they are not light. Simply put, I'm a brash chef:.
I've been using this product for a few months now and it's great. I like that it's all-inclusive. There are no plastic handles that melt when they come into contact with something hot, and no wood handles that warp in the dishwasher.
I needed a tool that could put all of the eggs "into boiling water" at the same time, start the timer, and then remove all of the eggs at the same time and place them in a large bowl of ice and water to stop the cooking and cool them down. br>This tool was fantastic! I was able to hold 10 eggs in it and carefully lower them into the water. You don't want even one egg to crack, or you'll end up with a mess in the pot! It's a well-made tool with a nice appearance. I'm sure it'd be useful for a variety of other cooking tasks as well.
It feels heftier in the hand than my old bamboo and wire spider and provides more support for heavier food items. It's made of good stainless steel, which makes it easy to clean. Toss it in the dishwasher and you're good to go. I don't need a spider all that often, but when I do, it's a lifesaver.
I'd been meaning to get one in S for a while. I live in Asia for part of the year, but I always forget because I'm out shopping for other kitchen items. I'm glad I got this one because it's not only sturdy, the perfect size, and a great price for the quality, but it also has a stainless steel handle rather than a wooden handle and is barbed-tipped. Like many of the ones I see around here, this basket is made of wire.
The long handle, which was designed for strength, is particularly appealing to me. It will not collapse under the weight and cause an accident. For both large and small amounts, the basket has plenty of support. It can also be used as a colander for smaller quantities. My decision has made me very happy.
This strainer has a design that makes cleaning a breeze. Wire mesh strainers were originally considered, but they are more difficult to clean. This is durable and easy to clean. We've only washed it by hand, so I'm not sure how well it would hold up in the dishwasher. This is a product that I strongly recommend.
