The extra large size is L (= 50 yards) x W (= 1 yard).
It is best to wash mine in cold water and hang to dry to prevent Due to its loose weave, some shrinkage should be expected, but all that is necessary is to keep it out of hot water and out of the hot dryer for the shortest time possible. Can't hang it on a clothesline? The larger pieces must be stretched out on the grass, fully open and anchored at the corner and along each side,
For a garden cover, I use it exactly as is. It would be a good idea to wash it (cold water) and dry it (without heat) before dying, to remove any chemicals and to "prepare" It has shrunk". Liquid starch will soften the fabric, so if a firm hand is required for your project, press the fabric gently (a little damp).
Cheese cloth that I made did not get dyed. The color was so natural and beautiful. At my wedding reception, I draped it over the tables. The bright white you are describing is definitely not a good choice for coloring. If you plan to dye it, I'd recommend a brighter white.

In order to make my wedding napkins, I bought this. In the end, I wanted something delicate to set my place settings, and I think this is the best I was finding a range of prices for renting napkins when I compared prices with other sites. A 75 cent coin is worth You can buy napkins from local businesses for 50 cents each. I hope to be able to get more than 180 napkins with this product. Since I have already cut the cloth into squares, I am able to buy all of them at a good price. As part of my wedding preparations, I plan to wash, air dry, and dye the cloth squares. In my opinion, the squares will hold up through the entire process and will provide me with the results I am looking for. My wedding will require more DIY projects. I will be purchasing more supplies for those projects.
This cheese cloth was exactly what we wanted! Using all of our tables (12), the arbor, and the reception banisters, we had enough linen to cover everything. My shirt dyed easily and didn't wrinkle or fray after I used RIT dye (also obtained from Amazon). I am very satisfied with our purchase and have already recommended this to a friend. (After washing, we hung it on wire hangers to dry).
I purchased 4 boxes, and 3 of them had either been cut or were partially cut A stained and sewn fabric or a tie-dyed fabric! Several large tables were dyed for an upcoming wedding, so we discovered the error. This is absurd.
The fabric was very easy to dye for my wedding, and it was very beautiful. Not to mention, it did not have a strong odor or anything like that. I am so happy to find such a great item at such a reasonable price.
Since I was unfamiliar with different cheesecloth weights, I chose one that was in the middle. I will be able to work with it even though the weave is a little looser than I would like. As part of quilting, it is being used to hold wool batting in place as it is quilted.
I love the way it looks and how easy it is to work with!.
