HiCoup Wine Bottle Opener - Professional Corkscrew Foil Cutter & Wine Key for Servers and Bartenders

I really like this wine key; I work as a server and bartender in a restaurant that sells a lot of wine, so I needed something that would make the bottle opening process go more smoothly. This wine key meets all of my requirements; The moonstone handle, however, broke after two days of use with the wine key. I'm not sure how it broke or if I was ever too rough with the wine key for it to break, but I was annoyed. It's fine now that I've gorilla glued it back together, but the stone handle now has chunks missing, and I'm concerned it will break again. br>br>UPDATE: br>br> Since writing this review, the company has contacted me in a number of ways, offering to replace the wine key or at the very least reimburse me for the broken tool. When I said I'd give them another chance, they quickly sent me a new wine key while still refunding my money. I haven't used the new wine key yet, but I wanted to update this review because this company's customer service is outstanding, and some of the best I've ever experienced.

It isn't bad in general. It feels good in your hand, but the overall quality is poor. To give you an idea of how frequently I use it, I open about 30-45 emails per week. A night's worth of wine is 40 bottles, and a night's worth of wine is 5. Every week, there are six nights. br>br>I would not recommend this product because the corkscrew pin became loose, and the wine key was rendered useless. In addition, after the first month, the foil cutter became dull. The simple wine keys, in my opinion, are a far better option. Smaller. As a result, they will fit more comfortably in your pants. And they last much longer than this low-cost item. br>br>I would avoid it. br>br>UPDATE: br>br> After speaking with the customer service reps about the problem, it appears that their team is completely disorganized and that they will be unable to fulfill any warranty replacements. Remove yourself from the situation. This firm is a complete waste of time for everyone.

As a bartender, this is my second high coup corkscrew purchase. I used to run a "wine night" at my old job and would fill a recycle bin with empty wine bottles, so I prefer a sturdy corkscrew that won't suck. My main gripe would be inconsistencies. br>br>I like the weightiness of the corkscrew and how it fits into my hand. br>br>My main gripe would be inconsistencies. My first hi-fi was a dream come true for me. So, when I misplaced the first one, I went out and bought a replacement in a different, less theft-worthy color. My very first hello The foil cutter on the coup corkscrew was sharper and more effective, cutting the foil cleanly in one pass. The first lever also had a springier hinge, making it easier to open bottles. There are also minor cosmetic flaws in the workmanship that have no bearing on the product's usability but do indicate that it was thrown together quickly or that quality control was lacking. Despite this, the corkscrew remains solid.

We've used a lot of cork screws, and this one outperforms them all. A year ago, I purchased this to replace a metal-framed mirror. and-plastic Rialto, which introduced us to the two-stage, split lever action, which makes pulling stubborn corks easier. We saw it being used by servers at local vineyards and decided to purchase some for ourselves and as gifts for friends. However, after many years of use, the Rialto's plastic breaks. We discovered the HiCoup on Amazon a few years ago and decided to give it a shot. Then, as our friends' old Rialtos began to show their age, we went back and ordered some more. And, having come to believe that these are "bullet-proof" over the years, After purchasing a second this year, I finally got around to writing a review! br> All lever action corkscrews rely on leverage to provide mechanical advantage. When using a single-action lever cork screw, the upward leverage is lowest at the start of the pull, when the cork is held in the bottle the tightest. When the lever handle is nearly parallel to the cork screw at the start of the extraction, the majority of the force is wasted by pulling sideways on the screw rather than up. The two-stage, split lever action solves this problem by allowing the lever fulcrum to be lower when the pull begins, closer to the bottle rim. The handle is then perpendicular to the screw, and all of the screw's force is directed upwards, out of the bottle, to extract the cork. br> One of the "tricks" with this corkscrew is to realize that in order to get the best leverage, the handle should be perpendicular to the pull direction. This means that for the first pull, don't screw in the corkscrew all the way; we like to leave about half a turn of the "pigtail" visible outside of the cork. Then screw a little more into the cork before starting the second pull by raising the fulcrum. There are two simple pulls: The cork is about to pop!.

My wine key broke almost immediately at the restaurant where I work, so I bought this and have since opened hundreds of bottles with it, and it still feels and functions like new! Every time I let one of my servers borrow it, they all say how nice it is! Wine key that is truly amazing and of excellent quality.

RYE whiskey is something that I'm familiar with. br>Because I have a lady friend who enjoys a glass of wine every now and then, I recently joined a wine club and purchased three bottles of award-winning wine, wine that I had never heard of before winning awards that I had never heard of before. I went looking for a way to get to the wine because I needed it; Because the advertisement stated that this was the preferred wine of professional sommeliers, I assumed it must be a good one. I'd never used one before, and it took me a while to figure out how to use one. With a whiskey bottle, you simply unscrew the cap, toss it out, and drink. HiCoup's Professional Wine Opener is simple to use and does a good job of removing corks without tearing them and leaving pieces of cork in the wine; it also looks nice and impressed my girl.
