I would have returned this item, but it was a gift, so I kept it past its expiration date. Anyway, it's cute, but it's not functional; the lever that folds under the puppy folds into him to fit inside him; the lever is foldable, so it requires less strength to hold. This isn't going to work at all. I'm employed at a wine bar. This thing is awful at opening bottles of wine, but it's adorable. I'm sending it back because I'm not pleased with it.
I got this for my boss, who has and loves dachshunds, but she already had every gift under the sun with the wiener dog pattern all over it, as do most dachshund moms. Fortunately, she not only enjoyed it, but she also stated that she had never seen anything like it before. And it was because of this that I received the significant promotion.
