As far as I know, I did not experience such problems.
A leak does not occur.
Dear Babyhaven, we regret that you cannot. Thank you for considering us, Babyhaven
The trick is to put boiling water into the pot before placing anything hot in it. I don't know, but it seems to work well. Five minutes will be allocated to each participant The warm up took 6 hours. If water and ice are being used cold, the reverse is true.

After receiving this item and finding it to be defective, I have requested a replacement. Hopefully I will receive a working one. As soon as I opened the lid, I noticed that the rubber seal on the lid was defective. I have attached photos so you can check it before using it since it probably explains some reviewers' leaking problems. When I receive my replacement equipment, I will update this post.
In Japan I purposely chose Thermos over some other brands even though others had better features. When I was in Japan, I chose Thermos over various other brands. I have had my coffee thermos (made in Malaysia) for quite some time and it is still great. I was holding the hot coffee while walking around the neighborhood in freezing weather and it is still hot 3 hours later. Thermos is my go-to choice for small containers to pack lunch for my child, so when I needed another, I obviously chose it. I'm sorry to say, but this one disappoints me very much. This product has the quality you would expect from a Chinese manufacturer. The proof is in the pudding. There is so much deformation in the gasket that I have serious doubts about how the vacuum job can be accomplished if they put it on. As per reviews, this appears to be a more frequent problem than not. The order was not read before I placed it, and that is my fault. We pack it up and send it back.
Is there proof of leaks? Check it out. Is the food kept warm until lunchtime? Check it out. What is the ease of cleaning? Check it out. According to the package, it is not dishwasher safe, so I haven't tried that out yet, but it is so easy to clean that I'm not trying to take a risk. It doesn't matter how much spaghetti "stain" appears on it. It is for KIDS, so please keep that in mind. This is not a gigantic thermos designed to hold a whole can of soup from Campbell's Select. Large enough to fit half a can of spaghetti.
Over the past 3 years, my family has had 5 of these, most of which are used for elementary school use. The pieces have not been damaged or harmed in any way and are still in perfect condition. All 3 parts go in the dishwasher after I remove the gasket. It appears that I have even removed the bottom colorful plastic piece because only one of them has water in it. It's absolutely true that they were dropped without denting and that food was left in them once or twice over the weekend, and that they cleaned up without developing It doesn't feel like lunch yet for my kids because their food is still warm. When it was first invented, I would fill the thermos with hot water, cover it, and then dump it out when I was ready to eat. But I haven't done that in a long time, and the food is still warm. They enjoy eating it when it is hot. The products have stood the test of time for sure, and it is a product I can really recommend! This product confirmed that I had such confidence in the Thermos brand based on how long they have been around.
I especially like my Lunchbot stainless steel containers and my To-Do list container It is not part of my lunch kit collection but I do have a stainless steel round tiffin. I can fit it nicely in my tactical bag (UTG tactical with which it's comparable to a Maxpedition Versipak one model above the Fatboy) but it can also fit nicely in my Maxpedition Thermite Versipack I just purchased The company. A wide mouth utensil that is easy to use, easy to clean, and leaves no waste. *Update I've been using this product for quite some time and thought I would provide an update on my During the packing process, I fill this jar with piping hot water to prepare it for packing hot foods It is necessary to warm up I can eat lunch with the food still warm from this. For cold foods, such as a small salad, I put the jar in the freezer until I am ready to eat Even when it's too early for me to eat the food, it stays cold all day. Despite the fact that there are many great products on the market, this fits my needs, as it comes in a smaller 10 ounce size. I've kept this container, and it's been used for everything from hot food, to cold food, to a hot cup of tea I brew before taking off. The quality or functionality has not degraded, deteriorated or changed one bit. That is incredible. While I have put this container through a little bit of abuse (tossing, not washing right away, stuffing at the bottom of my rucksack under heavy gear), it is still completely This little item was well worth the purchase. For me, this is the perfect size.
Mold just forms there, as if it was not being used. Does it serve any purpose whatsoever and can I just do away with it completely? Would that be easier? In other words, I can attach four silicon dots to the outside of the thermos so that it doesn't slip. In my opinion, mold on food items is not a good thing, so I will give it 1 star regardless of the rest of the I WILL LEAVE YOU ON In order to see if the thermos leaks and if it is easy to open, I filled it with boiling water and very loosely secured the lid. As I marked the top and bottom with the pencil, the top and bottom matched. In order to remove the odor, I kept the container lying on its side on a paper towel for about It was impossible for any leakage to occur. In the next ten minutes, I asked the teacher to open it for me (hot water over time helps to glue the top to the bottle, so you can't open it). The initial pencil marks could be easily erased with a permanent marker, so I then marked over them with a permanent marker. A. P. The lid could not be opened by my daughter when I closed it tightly. Thus, please refrain from doing so. You do not need such a thing. Update
So I took off the rubber from the bottom and I am surprised how ugly it looks (not polished, uneven, etc. ) BUT at least I now have a chance to let it dry completely before putting I don't think it's a big.
I expected it to keep food hot and warm, but it was only warm after 4 hours. My understanding is that it is a metal can with a lid. There is no technology I can see to keep food warm beyond what any other aluminum container can do. It would be fine if the cannister was tight. In comparison to the value received, it is too expensive.
As for the hot water test, after almost 5 hours of sipping, the water is still hot enough that I will take care to take a sip, Then it took several hours to check it, which included opening it several times during that time. I would assume then that my food would be fine for consumption and as hot as it should be after I kept it sealed for a full five or more days. In order to preserve the freshness of the liquid, I first preheated the jar with boiling water, not tap water, for a little under ten minutes. The hot liquid was then added immediately and sealed. It is critical to preheat or cool the jar in order to maintain the quality of the food. It works best to keep you warm, but I'll try it for cold at a later date and let you know my findings. My overall impression is that I'm glad I bought two so I can bring a variety of finger foods with me to.
