For students in middle school and up, this is a much better size. I'm not a fan of the pop-up lid and find that it just gets in my I'm not sure how long it will take I wish there was an option to buy this size thermos without the pop cap I would have done so had I been able to do When a screw on lid gets stuck in the groove, it is hard to clean it. I suppose that's what you get for being leak proof when the grove is so small. This product came in a 10 ounce version that I bought for a middle schooler, but I returned it due to its small size.
