Chinese people! My goodness. I've been using Pfaltzgraff for 25 years, and I'm so glad I did. For Christmas, I got a regular pattern, and for the new year, I got Winterberry for the family. Our family has been growing (children are growing up and getting married). I am blown away by how disappointing this is! My first reaction was to feel so cheesy as I unpacked it. There is something rough and uneven about it and it just feels bad. In comparison with the old ones (made in the USA), the current ones are smooth, shiny, and look fabulous. This is being returned to you. Now that I've finished Pfaltzgraff, I can move on. There is no way to make this better. You're welcome, President Obama. You've been so unfriendly to business, taxing companies to the point that they have no choice but to do business abroad to earn
Even with 12 ounces of coffee, there is often little room for cream in a mug. have plenty of room for cream when I use a Keurig coffee maker at the highest setting. You'll love it!

The dishes I'm eating right now are delicious. It has been my goal my entire married life to have Christmas dishes, and at 68 I decided it was time to buy them. As soon as I saw this pattern I had to have them, so I waited until after Christmas to buy I found them just as described and they are beautiful. This year, I used them all through December, and they were wonderful.
As a companion set to the Winterberry set that I have enjoyed for many years, I decided to buy this set. It appears from the Pfaltzgraf images online that the company's newer plates have a completely round edge, compared to my older set's slightly scalloped edge. It is part of a set I bought through Amazon, in part because the plates in the Amazon picture looked scalloped, and therefore they matched my older Winterberry dishes better. Although the set I received has only a slight hint of scallops, the plates themselves are all very thin and flat. Additionally, the plates and bowls are definitely thicker and heavier than in the original. Although the coffee mugs differ from my old ones, this was apparent in the pictures, so I was not surprised.
I'm not bothered by these variations since I can still enjoy them. The new bowls take up more space in the cabinet due to their additional thickness.
My excitement at having it delivered tonight was immense. On several pieces, you can see paint chips. As well as the holes, there are some small holes on the pieces. This set is very disappointing in terms of quality. I would expect them to be in good condition for the amount I paid. As part of my contact with the company in December, I provided them with multiple pictures and details related to the purchase.
It's very pretty at the same time. As much as I love them, I did not give it four stars because using a sharp knife to slice food (and this is not even a steak knife) leaves these grey scratches on your plate, bowl, even cups from swirling the Using this product started causing this problem after just a few days. My husband broke down the boxes they came in to throw them out (I ordered two sets). I would have returned them if he hadn't broken down the boxes. For December, I still used the set on a daily basis, but for next year I will look for a different set from a different brand. At least I didn't pay full price for it.
We received four place settings as a gift from my parents in the 1990s, so I bought this set for my wife this year to bring them up to six. It is VERY evident that there has been a difference. It's a disappointment because the leaves are a different shade of green (I expected some color variation), but you can see that the quality is downgraded. Green line strokes around the edges of the pieces are faint and thin, as opposed to bold strokes as before (and as seen in There is a feeling that the weight is lighter overall. Despite the fact that the older items were made in China, there are no markings on the bottom to show country of origin. As we have used them already, we are keeping them, but our overall experience was disappointing. Perhaps it will be necessary to search the secondary market for matching used pieces.
I still have my original set of wheel rims on the left. I received four plates today, the one on the right being one of them. There are multiple small flaws (see what looks like white scratched out areas in the green, all four plates have this). The green on the rims has a muted color, the trims are not as wide as on original sets, and there are multiple small dents. There are flaws on all four plates on the rims of the set. They should be classified as factory seconds, in which case they should be priced accordingly. Disappointed. I was hoping for more from them, but they aren't perfect. As soon as I took them out of the box, I was disappointed. The first four cups I got out didn't even look good to me. I'm not even wearing glasses, but I could already tell they weren't I think they pass in a flash. I would not have bought these if I had been at a physical store. As such, I have returned the items. Because I thought they would be ready for Christmas, I was quite disappointed. In addition, I was disappointed in the quality of the Pfaltzgraff brand.
