Yes, a standard loaf of bread, as well as rolls or other small bread-related items, will fit. things of that nature It's almost 16" long, with a 2" depth added by the attached top. To keep it from sliding on my granite counters, I glued some rubber "dots" to the outside bottom. it was a success This bread box is one of my favorites.
The ventilation holes had to be hunted down. Yes. It's big enough for a fruit fly to fit in. They're on the back of the box, which I didn't realize was there.
I've got a half loaf of Stroman "small" bread, a loaf of Stroman potato bread, and a packet of 20 soft tortillas (fajita size) in there right now. It can hold more than one loaf of bread.
No idea. Mine can be found in the refrigerator. Could you just move it to the toaster oven when you're not using it? I'd expect the bread to dry out in the oven, and to make matters worse- You'd end up with a sticky mess if you melted the plastic the bread was wrapped in.

It's slightly larger than expected, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. It's where we keep all of our bread. I also like the flat top because it allows me to add something to it if necessary. It has a clean, modern appearance that complements our new kitchen perfectly. Now for the bad news - I'm not sure how long it'll last; it appears to be well-made, but I'm sure it'll ding easily. I ordered two by mistake, and I'm glad I did because one of them had already been dented. I will say that the bread box's box was also dented (the Amazon box was not), so it's possible that the problem was caused by storage or handling rather than shipping. In any case, I am very pleased with my purchase (and Amazon's excellent return policy) and do not anticipate any problems with the product; it is sleek, smooth, and looks fantastic in our kitchen.
This is a fantastic bread box at a fantastic price. Several loaves of bread can be stored in this container. Even better, the box is labeled as a bread box. This eliminates the possibility of family members storing lobsters or hand grenades in the kitchen by accident.
What a huge oversight. The bread box was dingy and unappealing. This bread box arrived in excellent condition, with excellent quality. The way it looks in our kitchen is fantastic. It's exactly the look I was going for. I'm so glad I came across this product!.
I like that it's a matte black rather than a glossy black. It also holds more bread than I anticipated, which is great because we go through a lot of bread as a family of five! That was my main concern when I bought it because I hadn't seen any photos with actual store-bought bread inside. As you can see in my photos, one of the loaves is a full-sized loaf. It makes a full-size loaf and still leaves room for partial loaves at the end. The breadbox is also deep enough that a package of dinner rolls can be placed on top of the bread loaves without the lid closing. Our two cats had developed a taste for bread, so we bought this. The only way to know if this keeps the cats out or if they figure out how to open the lid is to wait and see. We're in big trouble if they figure out how to lift the lid, because it doesn't really snap or close securely. But, if extra security is required, the breadbox is small enough to fit into our pantry. br>br>The wording is nice, and I like the kitchy vintage feel, despite the fact that it is self-evident. br>br>Arrived in perfect condition, with no dents or scratches. Inside the box, there was packing foam all around it, as well as another amazon box with packing around the original product box.
This product is great; the style blends in nicely with the rest of the items on my kitchen counter, and there's even more room inside than I anticipated. There's enough room in there to store a lot of bread. The only issue I had was that—perhaps due to the thinness of the sheet metal, or perhaps because mine was slightly off-kilter— It has some give to it, and whenever I moved or even touched it, it made a loud buckling sound. It wasn't a big deal, though, because I just put some silicone feet on the bottom and it was fine. I only bring this up because it's something the seller/manufacturer might want to think about including in the design in the future. It is highly recommended.
This bread box is one of my favorite things. It's a fantastic addition to my cooking space. The box is solidly built. It has enough space to hold two loaves of bread as well as other items. On Amazon, I also put up a video.
I had to downsize to a 2-bedroom apartment. I bought this bread box to keep my meds and vitamins near the refrigerator and glasses because I didn't have any storage space in my story. Everything is in order. This is ideal for storing items. Love it.
Retro style is cool. The fact that it says bread makes my family chuckle. It's not necessary to ask where the bread is. Without it, I believe it would appear to be a toolbox. More than 1 loaf of bread can be stored in this container. The size and color are fantastic. For $20, it's a pretty good deal. Removes the unattractive packages from the kitchen counter.
