Hello there! We believe that your homemade bread should be wrapped in either non-stick foil or parchment paper before being baked. To absorb any moisture that is released as it ages, use waxed paper or a clean tea towel. Then you can store it in any of our Bread Boxes to keep it clean and away from pests in your kitchen. However, once the bread box is turned around, there is a fine seam (where the metal has been joined) on the back left corner that will be visible. This may not be an issue for you because everything is fine, but I wanted to let you know just in case.

A breadbox has long been a dream of mine. When I ordered it, I wasn't sure how big it would be, and I was a little worried because we usually have about three loaves of bread and tortillas per week in our house. Large tortillas, small corn tortillas, and up to three loaves of sourdough bread can all be easily accommodated. I simply played a few rounds of Tetris to get everything to fit, but it works perfectly without any smashing. This is something I strongly recommend because my kitchen looks so much better now that the bread bags on the counter are gone.
It's lovely. I found exactly what I needed! This bread box is everything I've ever wanted in a bread box. It looks lovely on my counter and has enough room to hold more than two loaves of bread. I am very happy with my purchase.

My new bread box is fantastic. First and foremost, the box and packaging were excellent; it was large, which was exactly what I needed. There's enough room in there for a standard loaf of bread, english muffins, hot dog buns, and a sourdough round. The dome lid is ideal because the extra space prevents the bread from being squashed. The lid is snug but not overly so. The matte gray lid, in particular, has a beautiful finish. "Mom, I love the new bread box!" my adolescent daughter exclaimed as we sat down to dinner tonight. The bread box had a nice appearance to it. I also read a great deal of feedback- I used to have one of those stainless roll-top bread bins when I was a kid. However, I was under the impression that this box had vent holes, which I was mistaken about. My sliced, store-bought but somewhat artisan bread did not hold up well. Fresh rolls I placed in there didn't work either. I used it to store snacks in the end. Bags of chips, nuts, seeds, and other items were disappointing, but that could be my fault; the lid was a bit of a tight fit, but I could live with that. br>It has a nice appearance. fits in with my existing decor If I had to do it all over again, I would not buy it.
