Especially if it was wet from rain, it would rust. Iron is very prone to rust. Using a spray sealer and keeping your eyes open for rust can help you clean it up. If you find any rust, use some Naval Jelly or another rust remover. It may need to be resealed or painted.

A metal skillet, similar in style to a cast iron skillet, is used. Moreover, I purchased this item along with another item from another seller that was similar but different. In this item, I found instructions explaining how to properly secure it to the wall based on what type of surface it will be mounted on, but in the other item, I did not see any such instructions. It is so helpful because I have a limited amount of space in my kitchen, and now I have a spot to hang pots, pans and frequently used utensils that I can easily reach.

There are two 17" packs in my order The panel below the kitchen sink and the one at the end of the counter should both be covered. Not too much stick out of them, but they are heavy. A flat bar is the best place to mount the hooks. The items won't dislodge when they are lifted because they stay put. There are a lot of things I like about them.

Our kitchen remodel was a great success thanks to this awesome addition! Two of them have been delivered to us. I did use different screws and we put a board behind it to make it more secure. Despite all the abuse, they've held up really well and we've gotten a lot of complements.

I should be able to use it for the rest of my life! It looks beautiful in my kitchen and blends in well with it. All of my stovetop utensils work well now that they are arranged neatly on the wall. There's nothing I don't like about this place.

I'm so glad I bought it! It would have been nice if it came with some smaller hooks, but you can just add those. It is very sturdy and will hold heavier pans, but you may need to purchase Wall Anchors to secure it to the wall.
