Questions & Answers
This isn't a dish rack that operates mechanically. It's just a normal dish rack that dries your dishes by air.
The adjustable side handles are meant to be used on top of the countertop rather than inside the sink.
No, it doesn't come with a plastic plate or a drip tray.
I use it with a 33 x 22 inch sink rather than a double sink. I just measured the basket and it's 14 1/2 inches long by 11 1/2 inches wide; for my sink, I've lengthened it to 22 inches. It could have been a little longer, but I didn't need it to be any longer. I hope this has been of assistance. This should work with almost any sink, in my opinion.

I can't believe I put off dealing with my dish drying issue for so long. Those drenched drying mats were no longer an option. For me, this is the ideal solution. Excellent craftsmanship. Strong. Adjustable to the max. It doesn't get any better than this. My friend, I've told them all!.
This over-the-sink expander has come in handy on numerous occasions. It looks like it will hold a lot of weight and fits perfectly over our sink. Because we are a family of six, it can accommodate a meal's worth of food. We usually dry our dishes on our counter with a drying mat, but these can only hold so much water before becoming smelly. After that, you won't be able to do anything but wait for it to dry. There's no need for a drying mat if you use the over-the-sink expander. The water is simply drained away. The utensil holder is a little on the small side, but it still holds a good number of utensils. Cooking utensils will not fit in that tiny holder. I've never had a problem with it collapsing or the expander moving. br>br>I strongly advise anyone with a kitchen to read this! Stop using your valuable counter space to dry your dishes.
My kitchen was recently remodeled, and I upgraded from a 60-inch sink to a 36-inch sink. 40 percent of the group was split into two groups, each of which was split into two groups of 50 50 split. The rack is a perfect fit for the new sink. The sink measures 15 1/2 inches long by 14 1/2 inches wide and can be easily stored in the cabinet under the sink when not in use, though I usually leave it up all the time because it is close to the counter and does not take up valuable counter space. When I first took it out of the box, I had no idea how much it could hold. In general, I find it to be very useful.
The item fits perfectly in my sink and saves me a lot of valuable counter space. It arrived on the scheduled date.
First and foremost, I'd like to point out that this rack could be ideal for people with a variety of sink sizes and uses. Because it's a thinner steel wire than the one I had before, it's more likely to bend. Other reviewers who thought it was thicker most likely had never owned a higher-quality one. I would have been satisfied with its construction and thought it was of good quality even if I hadn't done so. I also didn't get the utensil holder that was shown in the photo, which I was looking forward to using. I haven't used the rack yet because I believe I am eligible for a free shipping return, and I will look for a rack that is better suited to my needs. br>br>What matters when buying is the size of your sink if you want to use it inside rather than on the counter, and the seller reminds potential buyers to double-check that. The issue is that comparing your sink measurements to those advertised doesn't help much if the advertised dimensions are as inaccurate as theirs. The dimensions are 15" L x 12" W x 4" high, according to the advertisement. They appear to have "rounded" the dimensions, which is not fair to us given the importance of the dimensions in terms of usage and sink sizes. The actual measurements are as follows: Outer - 14 3/4 L x 11 1/2 W x 3 3/4 H x 14 3/4 L x 11 1/2 W x 3 3/4 H x 14 3/4 L x However . Dimensions that are actually "usable" - Because of the slanting sides and the height of the feet, the dimensions are 13 3/4 L x 10 1/2 W x 3" H. As a result, both measurements are significantly different from what is advertised, which may be a deal breaker for some. No doubt the seller rounded up to make sure it wouldn't be too big for someone's sink, but they forgot that some people want to make the most of the space their sink provides, and those inaccurate measurements didn't allow me to do that, and they didn't meet my expectations. br>br>We have a sink with a unique design in which one side is significantly larger and deeper than the other, with the smaller serving as a prep sink and housing the garbage disposal. To make the most of the space on the larger side, a large rack is required. Our previous rack was so well-fitting for the sink that it appeared to be custom-made for it, and it lasted 13 1/2 years. I couldn't recall where I bought it, so I went to Amazon to look for a comparable item. The previous one measured exactly 16" L x 11 1/2 W x 4 1/4 H and included a stainless steel attachment that hung securely on the long side, providing a flat surface for glasses. The usable width was increased to 14 3/4 inches as a result of this change. We keep soap and cleaners in it, as well as a sponge rack. Otherwise, due to the curved bottom of the sink, they would always fall sideways. To compensate for the loss of the other rack's attachment, I planned to purchase a flat-bottom caddy to place on the long side and hold soap bottles and sponges. We figured that because the sides of our previous rack were perfectly straight up and down, the dimensions for the usable inside would be the same, and that the advertised 15" of this SANNO would make up for the extra inch in width. Not so. We'd have to reduce the length from 16" to 13 3/4". That's a significant amount of wasted space. We'd have to reduce our weight from 11 1/2 to 10 1/2 pounds! Again, too much width is being lost. We'd also have to forego the 4 1/4 H in favor of a 3" height. As you can see, this dish rack does not live up to its billing. If you're going to use it in your sink, keep that in mind. Otherwise, if you're only going to use it as a sink topper, or if you have a smaller sink, you'll be fine. Due to the slanted sides, it will not be able to hold as many dishes as larger ones. br>br>I've included photos to show you the measurements and why I'm disappointed.
For the price, I'd say it's nearly perfect; it would be perfect if it were a couple of inches deeper, because the utensils almost fall off the cradle thing when you put them in. Let's hope it's made of stainless steel.
I have a small kitchen and needed to free up some counter space. Over a portion of the sink, I place this drying rack. It can hold a variety of plate sizes, as well as a few mugs and other kitchen items. 4 sets of cutlery can be stored in the black cutlery box. It's simple to take apart and clean. I had no trouble with four dishes and a skillet, as well as mugs and cutlery. I didn't put a big pot on it because I didn't want to ruin it. The rack can easily be taken off and placed on another surface, such as a tray or a drying cloth. Because of the adjustable arms, I'll be able to use it on a variety of sink sizes in the future.
I've been using it several times a week for over six months and I definitely feel like I've gotten my money's worth. When you have extra pots and pans, having the ability to pull out a second rack to finish all the dishes at once is extremely convenient. br>br>The only issue I have with it is that- As a result, it receives a one-star rating. is the fact that the adjustable supports are loose enough to move around while you're using it. I've had this happen before when they slid back into the sink while loading. As a result, I strongly advise you to extend the supports beyond the sink's lip. This has proven to be effective in preventing the supports from retracting and the basket from falling.
