Questions & Answers

Can you tell me what the dimensions of this product are?

Product Information shown on the Amazon Website Product A square of 9 x 12 inches. Using 4 x 1 as a multiplier The definition of 8 inches is The following weight 4 oz

Are you able to tell me what material it is What is silicone? What is plastic? Can you tell me what type of plastic it is?

Chemically, "plastics" or organic polymers can be categorized by their chemical structure, by the process by which they are processed, or by their physical properties, such as their strength, density, biodegradability, or resistance to chemicals. There is no information on the tub about whether or not it can be microwaved, and based on the way it felt I would guess it is made of high density polyethylene (HDPE), or it could be polyethylene terephthalate

It would be handy to have it bring the water to my bedridden mother's room so she can wash herself. The water will not spill. Does it have the strength to carry water?

Despite being a relatively new product, I have been using it for several years now, with no complaints
5/5

I purchased my first Progressive International Collapsible tub from Amazon in August 2011 and have been happy with it As for my only complaint, if I may call it so, I never had another one for the other (rinse) half of my double sink, which I've just rectified with my order for a second one. A reviewer mentioned that it may be difficult for older people or those with little upper body strength to collapse the bathtub. To agree with that statement is to say that the tub must be built and made with strong materials to stand up to being opened, used and reclosed at least once every day and more than once a day. The answer is yes. Because I am a person older than most (75 and a half to be exact), and has also been diagnosed with Parkinson's three years ago, I definitely have a problem with this. I don't have the strength to hold the tub up in the air and collapse it, but I have no trouble if I stand it upside down on a stable surface such as the kitchen table or the double sink's divider and push it down with my arms. Furthermore, I do not consider myself to be an older person and use that term only to refer to people who are 15 years older than me. (Betty White, of course, is an exception. )

I found this tub to be everything that it's advertised to be and would do my best to recommend it to anyone.

The place I call home and the place I call home
5/5

Two of these were purchased to be used on camping trips. Because we aren't real campers, we use them as makeshift sinks instead of bringing an actual kitchen with Our family uses one dish tub to put all the used utensils and dishware in when we're ready to clean up (soak in water and biodegradable soap). 2) collecting gray water, or 3) putting clean dishes into new A collapsible dish rack might have served the second purpose, but we found the dish tub to be more versatile. When we take road trips, we keep snacks in the dish tub for easy access. We've even folded one into a food tray for messy meals. The dish tub is lightweight and can be collapsed to a handy, compact size. The quality of the material seems to be solid so far because there haven't been any signs of deterioration. It is my honest opinion that I was scared of collapsing these when I first used them, since I was afraid this rubbered area was going to break if I tried to manhandle it. Depending on how powerful my upper body is, it takes more . I've attached a picture of the dish tubs we found during our recent camping trip, taken when we first unloaded our trash and piled it on the picnic table to go through A highly functional device both at home and on the go. I recommend it to anyone who travels by RV or car. Additionally, this is also an excellent choice when washing your laundry by hand.

I purchased this basin because the first one I got had a crack in it
4/5

I have very big feet and the first one I got had a crack. There are several reviewers who said they bought it to soak their feet in. My feet were soaked in a dishpan at home after undergoing a minor foot procedure. I wanted something smaller than the large dishpan I had at home. I have feet that are size W7 and this basin fits perfectly. The first one I got had a crack in the silicone along the fold line. I hope that doesn't mean that it will deteriorate over time. Amazon replaced it and I have been using it for a few days. My compact and expandable disc are easy to compress / expand, and I'm happy to be able to store them away when not in use.

It is something that everyone should have
5/5

I was very fortunate to find this. The dish tub I have now would never even cross my mind as the best. We love this sink cover because it fits our sink perfectly in size and color (it practically disappears), it's light and small, and it's reasonably priced This product is pricey and has feet to keep it out of greasy residue once it gets into your Because it's tapered, it uses a lot less water compared to a straight-sided pipe Traditionally, pans have four sides. The best part is that it's collapsible! It's a good life, what can you ask for more? Fortunately, I was able to get this to replace my old greasy stained plastic dishpan, which perhaps will be used as a cat box in the future. The cat box might actually have been a box for cats. In any case, the kitchen looks and feels like a major upgrade (neighbors will be delighted at how it has raised property values). One of these should be in every home!.

With the world's strongest glue, this dish tub is tough as nails
3/5

An large sticker is attached to the part of the tub where the dishes should go to denote the proper place for them. The glue used to affix the sticker is the strongest one man has ever developed, and even though the sticker can be removed, the glue residue is almost impossible to remove. It seems the company felt it necessary to brand this product heavily with 3 stickers. Every time I soak my baby's bottles in this dish tub, I will remember Prepworks by Progressive and the very strong glue they use to secure a Chinese plastic mold to their brand.

The interface is straightforward and easy It is the best wash tub I have ever owned, and I have owned several over the past 61 years
5/5

My favorite use is to keep small silverware and other small items in it all day, and then wash them whenever I have the time. The only problem is that the pan gets very heavy It is very hazardous to lift it in and out of the sink, and most often it ends in me getting Weighing just 11 pounds, this tub is lightweight and With the pan full of water at my disposal, I can move it anywhere I desire. When it comes to opening and closing, there is a trick to it. Once you know how to do it, you'll have no trouble. Here are the instructions for opening When you hold the tub inside out, start from a corner. Use your thumbs to push the softer gray area forward over the clearer and harder part. Using your thumbs, slide them down the gray area as you push down On the bottom, you might need to give it an extra push by the corner at the bottom to get it down or it may pop down by itself. Finally, I would like to say Turn the tub around so that the outside is facing up choose You will slide your thumbs down the gray area if you press in the middle of it In the same way as a window opening, it may just pop out of place or you may need to push the clear area toward it to get it in place. To accompany the opening and closing instructions, I have added some photos.
