Questions & Answers
It isn't a particularly large space. What you can put in it is limited by the triangle shape and the bevel on the top. I wouldn't recommend putting more than 2 cups of vegetables in it, and it might even be a little less.
It can be found in the product details. 8 x 4. 5 inches by 8 inches
I attempted to make use of it. I'm not a fan of how vegetables turn out. Because there is no vent on the top, the vegetables shrivel and dry out. This is a product that I do not recommend.
I only use an oven mitt because I'm afraid the steam will be too hot, and I don't want to drop it because there's still water in the container.

I'm overjoyed that I went ahead and bought it. I'd like to lose weight, and I'm confident that replacing roast chicken with steamed vegetables is one way to do so. Because you can't fit asparagus in this item, I disagree with the person who gave it a bad review. I don't think anyone eats asparagus by swallowing the entire stem. It'll also not fit. You won't have any problems if you cut the stems in half before steaming. br>br>The base has a fill line so you know how much water to add. I think we can all agree that microwave ovens aren't created equal. br>br>I believe that the amount of water used and/or the amount of time used could be changed from the instructions' recommendations. br>These adjustments will make the cooking process easier depending on how powerful your microwave oven is. Furthermore, the final product will be much closer to perfect in terms of the consumer's preferences.
It's not big enough to hold a standard bag of frozen vegetables, and it's too small to hold asparagus.
It's quick to set up, simple to use, and well worth the money.
Broccoli and zucchini work well together. We've found that half as much water as the fill line suggests works best, and then microwave it for an additional minute for tenderness. Cleaning is simple, and the product appears to be long-lasting.
I like using this steamer to cook broccoli because I don't like overcooked or undercooked broccoli. However, no matter how careful I am, removing the lid without burning my hand is extremely difficult. Be aware.
It functions admirably. The only drawback is that it takes a little longer in the microwave than it claims, so you'll need to adjust the timing. However, once you've figured that out, it's a breeze to use!.
The white interior part of the dish is stained orange from the carrots after 3 minutes in the microwave. Even after a wash, it still looks dirty and old. Very let down. However, the plastic is still rigid and functional, so I gave it three stars. It should not, however, be used on carrots or other vegetables that may stain.
This is what I use it for when I'm making homemade baby food that requires thorough steaming, which this little triangle provides. My only complaints are that I wish it came in different colors like grey or black, and that because the basket is white, it stains fairly easily. I've had to steam carrots and sweet potatoes so far, both of which stained the white steamer basket, but it did clean up after a little soak and did not affect overall usage. I would highly recommend this if you like steamed veggies or, like me, are making baby food that usually requires a lot of steaming.
