In the latter case. I have a white pig that is eight years old. I use it when I remember to use it, and it works like a charm (5 inches in diameter).
There is a silicone coating on it. BPA residuals are not something I am familiar with.
Displaying 1 of 1 I answered 1 out of 1 questions *br> We are a "made in, bought in, ships from" company. Family residing in the United States. We don't mind that this piece is made in Japan, but it's not our usual choice. Having been born in the year of the pig, I bought it as a gift for my brother. Amazing! I really like - Here's a little tip if you ask a question and the seller ignores you, but the item isn't made in China, you can bet a million dollars that it's Amazon's China imports now make it just as bad as Walmart's. *br>Fact Chinese suppliers make up 70 percent of all Amazon's purchases. About 80 percent of Walmart's merchandise is sold in the U.S., leaving less than 20 percent for the rest A product made by hand. *br>An overview of American manufacturing can be found here. Though I'm almost certain it's silicon, I'm not sure how sure I am. No rubber is felt, no rubber taste is detected, and the packaging is completely in Japanese, so there is no way to check or verify the product. I am extremely satisfied with the product. We have used it to microwave heat up food and to make Cleaning is a snap, and it's a great conversational item.

This slow cooker is what I use daily for breakfast, primarily to keep it warm. A microwave safety screen prevents your oatmeal from splattering in your microwave in the middle of cooking. I just bought one for the office at 850 a. m. It is a solid ring about 1/2 inch in diameter and fits over the lid of a soup bowl (in the microwave) or small-sized container In a medium saucepan (on the stove top). Since I make lots of soups and sauces, I look forward to making use of the product in that fashion. Then again, maybe I'll try it with stone ground grits as well! There was one criticism that the steamer sank too much in the middle of the microwave. I have not encountered that problem directly in the middle of my microwave. In another review, this product was criticized for being easy to stain. It is a problem I have not encountered Silicone is a nonporous material, which means that it will not absorb any stains during cooking, however you may see stains on the surface after putting it on top of tomato sauce, beet borscht, etc. Despite its pristine whiteness, this item will very likely stain between frequent uses, so don't expect it to maintain its pristine appearance! Having already tried out a small portion of this item, I look forward to trying out its full capabilities.
The piggy gets the job done more efficiently, though, even though the glass lid should work as well. A loop handle to pick it up from the pot would be the only thing that would make piggy better. You have to use something to lift it on and off the pot since it fits perfectly on the Take care not to get burned by the steam. We would also like several different sizes to choose from and to have an easy time cleaning and storing them.
The experience is fantastic for me. I got the largest size, and it fits my plates and smaller bowls just fine. I particularly like the little holes that let steam escape, making the Piggie much more effective than the silicon covers I have. And even spaghetti sauce hasn't stained it at all. Using this gadget in the kitchen is actually getting to be helpful.
This is an excellent solution. We designed it to be logical and effective. Years ago, I would have loved to have had this information! This dishwashing machine bucket is easy to clean by hand or by machine. Quality that can withstand hard use. Any container that is getting heated receives a perfect seal every time. The microwave is the most common place that I use it, but I have also used it as a saucepan lid. If you like, you can even place it directly on top of simmering sauce or soup. The remainder has also been put into the refrigerator, so I can reheat it later, or even Due to Silicone's clingy characteristics, it is able to keep a good seal. The environment is becoming more eco-friendly It is better to use plastic wrap than tape. Covering containers with damp paper towels (my previous method) is much more expensive than this. This easy-to-clean surface means you do not have to worry about losing money when you clean it What are the chances I could get microwave splatter from this dish if I heat it quickly enough? In the past, I have microwaved various Glasslock and Snapware containers so I wasn't sure if I should choose one of the smaller sizes. I don't care how small the container it is topping is, the larger size is perfect. Some people might find using a small size of coffee cup more convenient if they heat their cups or mugs frequently. If I were you, I would order a second or third in this large size because it offers the most versatility.
I enjoy using this device because steam emerges from the nostril holes and the whole thing is fun. This product is a kitchen must-have, and I use it daily (almost daily) in the microwave as a splatter guard and the stovetop veggie steamer to steam vegetables. For cups, I have a small container for food, I have this one. Despite the fact that I've had it for seven years now, the small one is still white, without stains, and has no cracks.
Microwaves are no longer splatter-prone thanks to Ghost Pig! It is amazing how cute Ghost Pig blows smoke out of
Feel free to grab the Ghost Pig's ears in order to remove him! As a result, I don't get steam burns with Ghost Pig, unlike with saran wrap. This Ghost Pig is just the right size to cover my Pyrex bowls up to 2 inches. There are five liters in this bottle! **Spooky Ghost Pig jumps into the dishwasher without a second thought! It's the Ghost Pig's time to shine!.
During a visit to the Metropolitan Museum in New York City, I bought my first piggy, and I have used it nearly daily ever since. The four I just bought are in preparation for a Christmas gift exchange party I'm going to this weekend. Although I'm a little envious, my new bowls are a bit larger than mine, so I may need to get another one for my larger microwave dishes.
It used to be that we used wax paper, but that was such an unnecessary waste and this reusable steamer works perfectly. I've just enough team release to reheat food in the microwave. SO is keen on getting one. I like this idea. This product is easy to clean. We would like to see more sizes available. Do you think it does? As a result, I'll be placing another order.
